And if that's not true, why would the wife continuously call him to come back to the house just to distract him from the packed bags when she could have just left while he was gone? These are questions beyond the obvious, why would you post to Reddit one hour after getting caught? Why would you share login info to Reddit? Even if you did share login info, how would she access the throwaway? From a saved previous login? Why would he save the password for the throwaway to a shared device? This story isn't even well written lol. It makes no sense.
I feel like this story could absolutely be fake, but there's dumb enough dudes out there. My parents share one IPad, so when I was texting my dad about birthday gifts for my mom, I had to make sure she wasn't using it since his number was connected to it. The way he spoke and his responses to people's questions and comments really spoke volumes about how much he had this weird, unhealthy fixation on his wife's sister. On top of that, he really made it sound like he didn't care all that much about his wife's feelings and was completely preoccupied and fixated on the sister. This is straight up a good Black Mirror episode. Buddy gets caught in the VR wank, but thinks he gets away with it so his SiL isn't implicated in the divorce proceedings, but then gets found out via reddit and the wife was planning on heading out all along.
I think she called it an "app" because she's Bulgarian and English is her second language. I find it very easy to believe the difference between an app and a website eludes her. Especially if she's not very techie.
Yeah, I began to think so too. If she really did everything she said, like sneaking away, emptying bank accounts, etc., wouldn't she just disconnect all of the accounts they could track each other with? Why would she bother to take the time when he would be able to track her location in seconds to shit post on Reddit so they would have "closure". Doesn't add up with how she's presented as a charcter.
@@numbdigger9552 Him and his wife borrowed a camera off the wife's sister, which had an SD card with one video file still on it. Although I think the whole thing is just made up for reactions.
Ironically, I find it more bizarre that they share the same reddit account than the cheating. Also just learned reddit has "Fuck up of the month" rewards. Never knew that.
There are so many little inconsistencies in the story that don't add up and/or contradict other elements that it makes my Bullshit Detector malfunction. This merely seems like someone just deciding to entertain the masses of Reddit on a whim for shits & giggles. It's amusing for sure, but should have worked out the finer details.
This story is weird all around but what stands out to me is how casually he mentions and glosses over TRACKING each other's location all the times with an app. That doesn't smell like a healthy relationship to start with but then again expecting anything reddit related to not smell rotten is ludicrous.
Yeah, setting up a notification "so I know when to go help my wife bring in the groceries" or whatever sounded weird to me. Why not just call or text? I guess there are less creepy reasons to use it, but it frankly sounds more like a micromanagement/stalking/control sort of app.
Yeah that is kinda yikes, plus the reaction to their husband jerking off to, like people are allowed to do so in a relationship right? I'd reckon so but yeah... I don't get people sometimes.
nah, it's a practicality thing. My parents and I (we live in the same house) have that too. We just use google maps with it. It lets me know where they are when they leave the house in case I wanna ask them to pick up something nearby etc. Or if I need to know how long until they get home to have something ready by then I can just open up google maps and check.
I thought it was going to be like he went into a VR chat room or Second Life, got hot and heavy with someone on there, and then it turned out to be his sister and everyone was disgusted by it.
As far as the "shared app" goes, it could have been like an iPad or something like that. Me and my now ex girlfriend shared one because we got it free for buying a car from some place. Well, she used it for social media and I used it for a few games while I was bored. Turns out I discovered that she was cheating on me because she would just leave FB messenger up and open for anyone to see.
Yeah, if they had a shared iPad situation and his dumb ass hadn't logged out of the throwaway account she could easily find the post just by opening Reddit and wondering what all the notifications were for. She might describe that as "sharing a Reddit app".
Oi drop a subtle "Cheaters deserve the death penalty" on the first date. If they don't agree and get freaked then they are worried you will kill them if they cheat... which means its in their nature enoigh to worry about it. Any sane person would jokingly say "Omg i know right"
@@drunkpaulocosta That's not a very good idea (nor is that a subtle thing to say on a first date). All a liar/cheater has to do to trick you in that situation is say "Omg I know right" as if it doesn't apply to them. Unless you have telepathy, you're just advertising how easily manipulated you are.
I know older people, like 40s or so, that call computer programs 'apps' as well as people in their teens and 20's. I think the only people that are guaranteed to say 'programs' and 'accounts' are nerds. She probably did just mean it was a shared notebook and the reddit page was always open.
The only reason I don't believe this story is because I can't imagine her actually updating the Reddit post and not just deleting it. Also like the weird insistence to keep reddit updated throughout even sharing the way they're all going to sleep together
if I had use of these discs from Stranger Days I would use them to make my elderly relatives with dementia happy by having them experience their fondest memories.
That would only work if the relatives used the technology to record those experiences when they originally happened. Can we reasonably pretend the tech was even invented at that time?
From the title I imagined this story would be a guy cheating on his wife in some VR metaverse-type thing with someone he didn't realize was his sister. Would have made for a very different story.
@@belle8932 No he's not using her body, it's not like he faceswapped without her consent. It's her fault for leaving it on there, despite the moral questioning of if he should've opened it at all. I def do think the wife was overreacting way too hard, especially with blocking his money and etc. Almost sounds to me like a great excuse for her to divorce him. I think the better solution would've been couples therapy.
How do you marry someone and never ask the whole "is it cheating" question once even just for shits and giggles? Has anyone *not* asked the alien question?
11:34 "why would you call that an app?" Not everyone is as computer savvy. I could imagine someone calling a website an app. Hell, most apps on my phone are just websites.
Can't lie, from the title and knowing how these things tend to go... I honestly expected it to be his own sister, the internet has left me scarred and deformed
Shared tablet maybe? Would have an "app" and since it isn't your personal phone having a shared one wouldn't be unusual I hope ex sister in law is doing great in her new relationship and that ex wife is doing well too! She deserves better

If his life was ruined because of this... losing everything in the process, why didn't he tell his ex brother-in-law what was going on with his wife? (Obviously not going into details about him cracking one off to the guy's wife). Was he above acting like this?
@@OtakuUnitedStudio Unless independently verified, "assuming it's real" is a reasonable caveat to all Reddit stories, but for the sake of argument, let's assume that it is a true story*. The guy's life is in pieces...because he had a wank, AND for apparently divulging that he always had a thing for his sister-in-law. He now knows a LOT of information about his sister-in-law, so why wouldn't he share this information with the brother-in-law? I'm certainly not saying that it's the right thing to do, but his life is ruined because of a dumb mistake, while his ex wife and her sister have gotten away with some seriously dishonest behaviour - it wouldn't be unreasonable for him to feel aggrieved. Would I divulge that kind of information in those circumstances? I genuinely don't know. *There's a significant red flag with the story, which makes me think that it's not true - if his wife had already packed her bags and decided to leave, why would she willingly hand over all of this juicy information? We're told that it's so that he doesn't 'accidentally' drop the sister in it, but surely he'd be unlikely to start telling everyone what he'd been up to in the first place. Now he's got a load of potential gossip about his (ex) sister-in-law, and no reason NOT to tell everyone. Unless the two sisters are absolute morons, why would they take such a risk? I can't imagine many women thinking, "I'm going to leave my husband, but beforehand I'm going to give him loads of ammunition against my sister and I." This makes the story seem very unlikely... imho. True or not, it's certainly an entertaining story.
I thought the implication of that part was that the cheating sister-in-law story was made up to pull OP into a false sense of security so that the ex-wife and her sister could more easily get all of her shit together with him asleep in the living room after "letting him off the hook." Otherwise he could've come back and made a huge scene or make it harder for her to get her shit if she was just like straight up "you fapped to my sister im leaving."
@@Eighty8percent I understand that part, but it's an incredibly convoluted way of achieving that aim, and doesn't change the fact that they've willingly handed over some juicy information. Surely there were many far simpler ways of lulling OP into a false sense of security. The wife could easily have said, "you've really hurt me, and it's going to take a long time to fix this...to rebuild trust...to move forward. Maybe one day I'll be able to forgive you, and put this episode behind us, but in the meantime this stays between us three."....job done. Instead, the two women tell OP that the sister-in-law has been up to all kinds of things behind her husband's back. If the story is to be believed, the two women are placing a HUGE amount of trust in OP to not run his mouth off. At the point where OP walks through the door he has nothing - the two women hold all the cards...yet we are to believe that they simply, (and freely) hand over a large chunk of valuable information to the guy who they are just about to drop a, (figurative) bomb on. Seems odd imho....seems untrue imho.
I was actually mildly surprised he was cheating on her with her sister rather than his own sister, which probably means I've watched far too many Tales from the Intenet
What I am guessing what she means by "share everything" is that she knew his phone's password which is something some couples (Especially couples that willingly let themselves be tracked like that) do and checked his phone while he was asleep. I am also guessing reddit notifications were blowing up with how viral the post gotten and cause the reddit app doesn't automatically log you out, she could easily access the throwaway account if he didn't bother to you know... Throw away the account.
hey Whang, just commenting to let you know that my wife and I share a reddit account lol it makes it harder to dox us because of the conflicting information
I think the "we share a Reddit app" means that they have data syncing on iPhones where if you do something with one app on one device it transfers to your other devices That's the only thing I can think of
Maaaaan, I thought this was gonna be a story about this guy getting VRChat tail with strangers behind his wife’s back, and one of the strangers would TURN OUT to be HIS sister.
There is one possible explanation for the sharing the Reddit app situation: it was on an iPad/tablet which she brought with her when she dipped Still, that one detail does seem sketchy

I think the ex-wife played her cards right with how she approached this all. What he did isn’t something than can be easily forgiven or forgotten by someone.
A wife divorces her husband over him masturbating to her sister's homemade phonography for her secret lover. The sister who claims she's cheating because allegedly her husband stopped providing as much financial support whilst being first to prove unfaithful. Somehow this situation is cause for a wife of the masturbater to divorce her husband, Yet for the sister the infidelity of her husband was not enough? This turn of events doesn't fall in line with Eastern culture on marriage.
@Sabizos 4w reply but I don't think it's a lie. The Ex-wife had a porn tape. Which is basically what started this entire you know. If the ex-wife was lying. Then how the hell and why did she have her sister's Porn tape and WHY would her sister make a Porn tape?
only a minute in but you have no idea how relieved i was to hear it was HER sister and not his. genuinely thought this was gonna be a thousand times nastier than it likely will end up being.
I always call Reddit an "app" when I talk about reddit, even though I use Reddit both on mobile and PC. I just use it mobile more. I wonder if she just called it app because of a slip of the tongue because she normally calls reddit an app
Idk why but this reminds me of my own experience from 3-4 years back, i was talking to a chick off a dating app for a while, hell we even met once in person and hit it off, thing is we’d only communicate through Snapchat and she was hard pressed on giving out her number, till l convinced her so we could FaceTime and i just started texting her number from then on, what she didn’t know was that her iPad she had at home that she barely used had her apple info on there, well her boyfriend found it and booted it up, messages between me and her flooded the iPad which sent him into a frenzy, apparently he was her live in boyfriend/ baby father, i did know she had an infant child but she told me they didn’t contact eachother outside of shared custody stuff, cue me getting messages for weeks on end from the bf threatening to find me and kick my ass lol it was the weirdest situation i ever found myself in
The sleeping bag thing is a stroke of utter genius. This dude did a really terrible thing and needed to lawyer up IMMEDIATELY. Wtf was he thinking to drink and pal around with his wife and SiL like that? What a moron.
I have two phones (one as my main, and one primarily for gaming), and I'm logged in to Reddit on both, but I'm 99.9% sure if you create a throwaway with a different address on one phone it won't be on the other (unless you can link a throwaway to your main, or use the same email?) So unless it was on PC or something I don't see how that would work, especially if she left him (unless she took the computer?) This is an entertaining story, but that part makes me skeptical
"Why would she call it an app?" I mean technically she's not wrong. But the whole talk about family honor makes me think this family, or at least some members of them, are not from the United States. Perhaps English is not their first language and while technically not incorrect, they don't know most people would not call something on a PC an app in the same way you'd do with applications on a phone.
The mind discs were a part of James White's Sector General series too. They contained the complete mind recordings of medical geniuses throughout their galactic federation so that doctors of one species could impress the knowledge required to treat an other-species patient at their medical installations. They were referred to as Educator Tapes. There's 12 novels in the series, definitely give em a look if you have the chance - they're super entertaining and imaginative
Tbh if I was the guy I’d be super petty afterwards, since wife is getting a divorce and contact with her side of the finally likely will go away. I’d tell the sisters husband everything just to be petty.
@@spectersz3395 I made my own comment talking about all this, but there were soooo many times in this whole timeline where it could've been avoidable and simply talking it out would have stopped the situation escalating and even becoming a thing at all. Like the sister not talking to her husband, the guy not opening up about the mixed feelings of the sister, the sister checking the sd card before lending out the camera, the guy and his wife talking it out even when it escalated. Even with them needing to track each other to know where the other is, or the sharing of all accounts. There was serious lack of trust and infidelity between them. Either this is an extremely crazy real anecdote, or a bullshit poorly written redditor fantasy.
i think one of the two where super controlling, the tracking and notes when you come home is the first flag. shared reddit apps is another. i expect that the "dead phone" thing happened a lot to show up unexpected. sounds toxic for whomever was controlling that lol
So they were super worried the guy will reveal the video to the sister's husband and then the next step of her masterplan was to ghost and divorce the guy?? Like it didn't occur that such a plan of actions might trigger a response of spite or revenge? Also who divorces over a damn masturbation session? Either the people in the story are super weird and dumb or we can shelve this under "Things that didn't happen".
She got cheated on first, made a sex tape in private, for someone else, and then her sister's husband used that as VR jackoff material against her will and without her consent. How is the sister the worst person in this scenario

This story is weird all around but what stands out to me is how casually he mentions and glosses over TRACKING each other's location all the times with an app. That doesn't smell like a healthy relationship to start with but then again expecting anything reddit related to not smell rotten is ludicrous.
Honestly. And the whole sharing reddit account thing. Man, he was very stupid. A god damn throwaway she could login to.
I was thinking the same thing! Dude’s whole life is a nightmare.

Much more based and patrician, you mean?
Different story, but probably the same ending given how he handled things.

@@drunkpaulocosta 😂😂😂😂 right?!

I work in IT, and tons of users just refer to everything you login to as an "app". I'm assuming it was a shared laptop, assuming any of it is true.

I can't imagine many women thinking, "I'm going to leave my husband, but beforehand I'm going to give him loads of ammunition against my sister and I."
This makes the story seem very unlikely...
@Ajit Adonis Manilal alright man just because you’ve never felt the touch of a woman doesn’t mean that all relationships are bad.
