You should check out what happened to the 'you done goofed' girl. I went down this rabbit hole a little while ago and people in those times were relentless. She went through a lot of stuff and it's sad but really interesting to see how she (now they/them) have grown past the trauma that they endured.

i feel bad for what happened to this guy,im glad he can at least look back and laugh at it. i think it’s a heartwarming thing that he found out he is gay. i wish the best for him and i hope he can live a more normal life.
i would also like to point out that i do find it sad that kids date and feel pressure to date most of the time and i often see how this suppresses their true identity. i have a brother who is around my age and he is gay. i remember teasing him because he never crushed on any girls or seemed to care about it and he often got bullied for being smaller. my mom accepts him thankfully and i also have another brother who is also gay. they’ve never told me about any experiences they’ve had growing up dealing with homophobia but i want to hear it. i love my brothers very much and i just know they’ve probably been through so much especially my oldest brother since he grew up in a way different generation.
