I'm living in Russia, in capital if Siberia Novosibirsk and in my university pictorial and graphic practice takes place in the museum. We are drowing animals, birds, historical costumes and things of ancient peoples of Siberia. I'm agree - its amazing!

I always leave museums feeling really inspired, even though I'm not really a visual artist. I actually just got back from Scotland, which is a beautiful and inspiring place on its own, but I think one of the main reasons I came back home feeling really ready to write/take photos/make things is that I went to a bunch of free museums there. It was so great to be able to take in things that other people have made that are beautiful or educational or historically interesting.
Anyway, that's enough of my ramblings. Great video! It's nice when you switch things up.
You are so absolutely lovely! I love your videos and illustrations! I actually found your channel not too long ago and freaked out because I use your stickers all the time on "LINE" they are my favorite! Your kitties are so cute!! Also I believe every artist feels this way about art supplies and art stores. I know its always hard for me to control myself in art stores, I don't think I've ever successfully come out empty handed. :)

I enjoyed this. I work in Museums...great to encourage people to visit and draw collections. I went to The National Gallery for the first time last year. I was so overwhelmed, I cried.
it's comforting to know that people who lived aaages ago also went through the same problems we do (like frustration, fear, insecurity, etc). i haven't been to a lot of museums, but i get that from literature as well. it makes me see how tiny the human race/history are compared to the universe. and it's kinda nice to realise how small we are, cos that means there's still a lot to grow, right?
i love your videos, and you should enjoy london more often! i mean, its london!! do it for us! haha

I have the same feeling too for galleries and museums. I went to Marlborough gallery once in London for a show of one of my favourite artists. Then lo and behold the artist herself walked in. I almost fainted. :)

Esa sensación al estar frente a un cuadro y sentir que estás frente a una estrella de rock, es lo mismo que me pasa!! El año pasado fui al MET y al MOMA, y sí, pal hoyo, da nervios y después piensas que tu viste esos cuadros en libros, en la tv, cuando estudiabas, que hasta tuviste un poster en tu pieza!!! y ahora los viste ahí, en vivo, no hay cómo describirlo de otra forma, conocer a una súper estrella.
Fran- I loved this video so much! it reminded me of all the reasons why you are probably 1 of 10 people i actually keep track of on youtube. What first got my intention to you was the pilot g-tec pen! (my favorite) and then I kept finding more things you love that I do as well! (fine brushes, museums, I lived in England for a few years and would feel the same) Anyways just want to say thank you for inspiring so many, and for letting us have a look into your life.. you are very gifted and loved!

Today i went alone at the museum for Botero's exposition In rome, after i have ate a big ice cream and took a walk in this sunny amazing day. It was beautiful, everything!

I love London so much!!! I am jealous but also so happy for you that you get to live there, I would be super excited like a child every time I went into the city too. I miss the national gallery (and the V&A!), which reminds me to tell you to visit the Wallace Collection (free and just off Oxford st) as it is my favorite London museum of all. Me refiero a el equipo y accesorios que usas para grabar como tal y también qué otras cosas te llevas (bolso que prefieres llevar, lápices, sketchbook, etc). Un abrazo!

I'm so happy to know I'm not the only one who nerds out about going to museums. My husband, the sports guys, has teased me for 11 years about my museum desires. I don't even have friends who enjoy them! Can you believe that!? And I'm the same way as you when it comes to buying art supplies. I'm also very weird about my papers...any kind of paper. I hope you continue with this type of video. I get a kick out of them. One last thing: You should try the Daniel Smith Watercolor Dot samples. I think you would like them. :)

The National Gallery is my favourite place in London apart from the National History Museum and Hyde park. The NatGal is so relaxing though ;A; I love curling up in the seats and just watching people look at the paintings c:

I feel exactly the same way in museums. They feel sacred to me. Also, I feel like in the Harry Potter world of J K Rowling's she hit upon something with the subjects of her paintings that move and are alive. I feel like the subjects still 'exist' within the world of the painting, so it does feel like looking at a time machine. I have never been to Europe, so I appreciate you sharing your visits in video. I feel so at home in a museum - or a cathedral - for that matter. It's like I could move in, and make it my bedroom. Ha ha.
