I think I binge watch your videos just to hear you say “You are loved” and “You are enough”. I don’t ever get told that and rarely feel it so thank you.
I am glad that you are here with us Brandi. I also agree that when Sara says this at the end, I have had tears many times. Know that you are loved! ❤❣❤
lol same thing here lol I've been on a week binge just to hear that soft voice saying this.. Sometimes it brings tears to my eyes. Love this channel much to learn about the religion but also from a RUclips perspective, the narration is sooo good!!

My grandmother was born to a jewish father and christian mother in mainland europe before the occupation of the nazis. My great grandfather passed when she was little and my great grandmother remarried another christian. I fully believe this is what saved my grandmother and aunt from the shoah. As a result however, I was never raised with any jewish traditions or culture. We weren't even allowed to discuss that we had jewish ancestry so I find your videos incredibly comforting and a link back to my lost culture. Thank you for this ❤
I love unity!! I am a 71 year old Christian woman who loves the Jewish people, and I stand with Israel! I just subscribed and look forward to watching all your videos. You are a blessing! Blessings to you and your family. 🇮🇱❤
Dear Sara, I am not Jewish, not even a native English speaker. I'm a middle-aged Hungarian man, Tom, who really enjoys your videos. Thank you for giving me an insight into your traditions and life. You have a great family and you live a very nice life. I wish you God's blessing! Happy Hanukkah, BTW!
I am an American Catholic with Jewish friends. One friend and I have had many discussions on the differences and similarities of our religions. We also share our holidays when we can. Happy Hanukkah!
Slightly off topic, but every time you speak on your traditions as a Sephardic family and make sure to mention your "Ashkenazi brothers" and how their traditions compare, it really warms my heart; just seeing the love and care you take to accommodate your spiritual family, no matter the sect, is really inspiring.
Awww thank you Amber🥰🥰🥰 I think it is important to say “we do this but also this is done” just for people not to think it’s my way or the highway!! : at the end of the day we are one big family 💕
Thank you so much Sara. I found out I was Jewish through a DNA test on my Mom's side of the family. I am learning about my heritage at 66 years of age.
I love your two kids. They're so cute and they did a great job with the decorating. You and your husband are so blessed to have each other and your kids
Thank you for your videos. I love seeing how winter holidays are so similar: candles, family love, great food, time together. Thank you for your gentle voice, and insights into your faith and life.
I love magical nights. I am Catholic and our "magical nights" begin tomorrow (Dec. 24) at dusk when we light our candle lights in all the windows of our house. My parents were always very strict about observing the weeks of Advent preceding Christmas and I have continued this. Traditions are beautiful, especially when rooted in faith in G-d. Thank you, Sara, for sharing your life with us. G-d bless you.
I’m a Christain in Utah You are such a beautful soul I love learning about other faiths I’m currently reading the Hebrew Bible which has blessed my life so much I love reading Gods Holy word Have a blessed Holiday season , blessing to you and your family ❤❤❤
I wish I could have been one of your children to celebrate all the Jewish holidays, and today Hanukkah! The way you celebrate, is so very touching to me. I grew up in a secular Ashkenazi home, and I don’t even remember my parents celebrating any Jewish holidays. They were thoroughly assimilated! I am an older Zionist Jewish woman now, and I do regularly practice some Jewish customs, ie. Lighting and praying on Shabbat, try to keep kosher, and practices of other holidays.
Greetings Sarah, I am from the US state of Michigan and not Jewish but hopefully will soon be in the conversion process at my synagogue. This year was my first Hanukkah. What an amazing time. I love your videos. Shalom to you and your family
I love magical nights!! 🕎✡️ I'm learning about judaism, I want to convert, I grew up catholic, but at some point in my life, Hashem called me back where I feel I really belong to, judaism. Thank you Sara, it's always a pleasure to listen to you. All the Blessings for you and your beautiful family 💛🌻

I love Magical Nights, you are never alone. Life got busy over the years and we stopped lighting candles for Hanukkah. This year, after watching all your videos, I have decided it is time to get back to it. Menorah is out, candles are in, and we will be lighting candles tonight and every night. Thank you for reminding me what matters.
AWWWW if you could see me right now you would be seeing me balling tears of joy after reading your comment: you are the reason i made my RUclips channel : THANK YOU for being here :) May G.od illuminate your path all your life xoxoxo
❤Your daughters did a beautiful job of decorating the home and table. I enjoy reading 1 and 2 Macabees each year before Hanukkah; powerful account of faithfulness against the Greek's persecution and laws and G-d's miracle of preservation. I love magical nights and your kind words at end of each broadcast.
I love your videos. I am not Jewish but I am so grateful that you share your traditions with pride. Understanding others helps melt ignorance and creates hope that the world will become a place of love. Happy Hanukkah to you and your beautiful family!
Iam a Christian who loves the Jewish people and pray for the Peace of Israel. I am trying to learn Hebrew and Jewish traditions. My wife and are grateful for the blessings of God and the Jewish people. We are going to celebrate Hanukkah for the first time this year. We have been memorizing Psalm 91 and with tears praying for Israel during these horrific times.
This video made me cry (which is probably not the reaction that is expected!) When you talked about your kids sitting/snuggling with their Dad while he reads to them reminded me so of my own childhood. My Dad always made a point of ensuring that he was home at 8 PM so that he could read a book to me. Even in the midst of tax season (my dad was a CPA), he was always home at 8 to read to me--even if he immediately went back to the office after. Those memories are so precious, and the fact that your husband is making those memories with your kids is truly priceless. My Dad passed away in 2019 of hereditary colon cancer, and memories like those of him reading to me took on such a deeper meaning. My prayer is that your kids hold onto those memories. Even if reading the picture book seems "lame," read it anyway. Hold onto those memories--those precious moments. Moments like that are reminders of the love and the bond between kids and Dad. May your kids build even more loving and precious memories with their Dad--and with you, their Mom, as well. 🙏
I love magical nights!! I'm seeing this video for the first time (11/09/2023) and so excited for you and your family as Hanukkah 🕎 is just around the corner; only one.month away! Your Hanukkah home decor is just stunning and your home has the a most beautiful, peaceful ambience. G.od bless you Sara Malka and your precious family ❤
Happy Hanukkah. Sarah! My Ashkenazi father lit his first candle tonight! He didn't even know he was Jewish until a DNA test a few years ago. He's lit his menorah ever since. We were born and raised Christian. But I love how he's embraced his Jewish heritage. Your channel has helped me represent him ever since. God bless!
Hello! I'm interested in your story, how can you know with a DNA test about judaism ancesters, what is need to be found in the test to determine whether a person is jewish. I grew up catholic but I feel in my heart that I'm jewish
So lovely. Thank you for inviting us into your home and sharing your love and traditions. Just lit my hanukiyah after attending our cities lighting with our Hassidic Rabbi and his family. I also grew up to all Jewish parents and grandparents however as my parents were raised by Holocaust survivors, neither they nor I grew up keeping kosher or celebrating the holidays. I am trying to change this and am raising my son with lessons on Torah and celebrating holidays and feeling the simcha from doing mitzvot. Thank you again for sharing and explaining details with such delicate attention and love.
I'm so honored to be able to join your family for Hanukkah, even if it's only virtually through a video! Thank you so much for sharing such a beautiful tradition with all of us! I am so happy to learn more about Judaism through your channel and gain a deep understanding of your rich and ancient traditions! Happy Hanukkah!
I love Magical nights. My grandparents were murdered in Auschwitz and with them my Jewish heritage. I was brought up Catholic but I feel misaligned. Your videos bring me peace and a close connection to who I think I am. God bless you for posting such beautiful videos. Hugs Kate in New York 😊
Awwww🥺🥺🥺 I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that In Judaism if your mothers mother was Jewish you are Jewish and your Neshama/ soul will always bring you home 🏡
@@frumitup Thank you for taking the time to reply and for your kind words. I have visited Auschwitz to pay my respects to not only my family but to the many who perished there. It was my father and his family, my paternal grandparents who were Jewish. My mother and all her family were Christian and British. Does that affect who I am in a different way do you know?
@@frumitup again Thank you. Poland at that time was a mess. So many missing family members so sad, no one to ask or answer my questions. Be well, know you are loved. Hugs Kate
Thank you my dear. I am not Jewish but I have precious cousins who are. Hanukkah fell on Christmas this year so I used my candle menorah (it's a regular one but I tie a single one at either end with ribbon. I chose blue and white candlesand my cousins, 3 generations of them performed the blessings. You too are loved Sara. Love to you from Ireland XXXX
I love magical nights! My Jewish grandparents are in their 90’s. I’ve been telling my grandmother, who was raised orthodox, about your channel. She says it brings back good memories. She then shares them with me. Thank you for that. I hope you have a very happy Hannukah
You are so lucky for your grandparents to still be around and that you have such a beautiful relationship with them. It makes me happy to read about your time together. I miss my grandparents so much! I know you are going to truly cherish those moments together. So beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
Hello Sara. I’m not Jewish but I love to watch your videos and learn about your Jewish rituals and traditions. Thank you for educating us. Your girls did a great job decorating. Happy Hanukkah 🕎
I never knew why Hanukkah was celebrated for 8 days, or the meaning, really. I got chills when you finished the story about the oil lasting exactly the amount of time it took to make a new batch! Then I LOL about the silly putty. 😂 I find myself editing my comments as the video progresses. 😊 The kiddos did a great job! Looks beautiful and festive. I ❤ magical nights!
Sara, I love watching all your videos, especially your cooking! Everything you make looks delicious. Thank you for praying for all of us when you light your Hanukkah lights! That made me teary. I’m a Christian and I love magical nights, too! ❤️
Happy Hanukkah!! This year in school my sons teacher educated the children on Hanukkah and was given an assignment to make a dreidel and then play it with the family. My son loves games and it is now a family favorite. He is one gifted dreidel player! Lol
I also love magical nights… I am not Jewish but once worked for a Jewish family, while I did not enjoy the work, I loved what I learnt about the religion. It was over twenty years ago but I have always been drawn to the Jewish religion since.
I love magical nights! I watched this on 4th night as my candles burned down. Thank you for explaining your oil menorah and minhag, it's always a pleasure to share a chag, even virtually!
Dear Sara, Thank you so much for sharing your life with us - everything from kitchen tips to time-saving hacks to the blessings of your faith and family. It makes me feel that there is still true good in this worls.
You also mean the world to me Sarah!! Hanukkah is definitely my fave time of year. It’s when my whole family make the time to come and eat and truly just be with each other in a fun and peaceful setting as all of our lives can get so hectic. I wonder what everyone’s favourite food memory is? I have to say it was my moms latkes … 🥔 oh my goodness… so delicious. It’s only April but I will def be watching this video again later this year. You are so loved and thank you for all of your kind words and inspiration. You and your amazing daughters truly make us feel we are alongside with you chatting. I love 🕎 prep and magical nights Your Ontario friend and neighbour Jan 🇨🇦🙋🏼♀️🕎 💙 Ps, a really great jewish boy band that your kids might love is #six13. Every song celebrates Jewish life and tradition.
Sarah....I love the way your family celebrates haunnakuh. I am the only Jew in my family...every one else is Catholic, so I am usually alone in celebrating the holidays. I truly enjoyed celebrating with your family through your video. Thank you.
Sara thank you so much for sharing your life with us. I love learning how other people, particularly other people of faith, live their lives. What a priviledge we have in your lovely videos. G-d bless you!
When my sons were little, we celebrated Hannukah, though we are Christian. I wanted my boys to have the message of religious freedom ingrained in their hearts. We have a lot of Jewish friends, and they were generous to invite us to the festivities. One even gave us a menorah so we could light candles at home. God is one.
I have to write a comment now. I have seen your channel some time before, lost it, found it again. And I am so grateful for all the content and love you share and the work you put into these videos. They are so comforting - as if you are the mom or friend that everyone should have in their life…. Please stay strong for sharing how wonderful jewish life can be, I would love to have jewish life and culture and that of other religions to be covered in school so more kids can grow up with understanding and acceptance towards one another to stop the hate. Much love from a Christian.
Thank you to you and your family for sharing your time with me. You videos smooth me, and always, always make me smile. I feel lighter and more at peace after watching. Your girls are very clever with their decorating, what fun! Beautiful traditions and wonderful memories. I love magical nights.
Shalom! Thank you so much from long Island ny. I am a Christian. I grew up Catholic but never could read the Bible. A miracle happened when i fully gave my heart to Jeshua and i was able to read the Bible. But i was upset because i didn't understand why my Sabbath was on Sunday and why i didn't celebrate the feasts Hashem has commanded. Since that moment i have been dedicated to celebrating as much as i can. Thank you so much. My faith is all thanks to the Jews who kept the commandments. I pray that the bad things done by Christians in the past and even in the present will not be your sole opinion on who Christians are. If a Christian is adhering to the word, we must understand how important the Jews are and the holy Land of Israel. Bless you and your family. I pray "next year in Yisrael" ❤
Hi, Sara! Thank you so much for sharing your family traditions with us! As for your question about sponsored videos, I totally understand that creating content for YT is something that takes a lot of time and dedication from you, so I'm more than happy to know that you have some sort of benefit from it! As long as you feel confortable with, and that the brands respect you and your values, I'm happy to watch your choices! But as someone else commented, please be aware that we trust your opinions, so be mindful with the companies you partner with! :)
Hi Alex! I absolutely agree with you and this is why over the 100s of offer i received, I accepted none of them because there was not that feeling of I LOVE IT AND I CAN RECOMMEND THIS to my viewers because this is just not me. A lot of YouTUbers live from their RUclips so they need to have all these sponsors, I do not live off RUclips so i am very selective hence not accepting anythingI truly believe in. If SCrub daddy, a kosher brand i know or other brands i use and love would reach out i would perhaps say yes to them but out of nowhere brands is a no for me. I hope it reassures you that I do not take sponsors just to make money as this is not the goal of my channel:) PLEase let me know if you have more questions! xoxox
Dearest Sarah, Your beautiful light has reached my heart. My amazing son is currently studying Judaism, and this video has been amazing in helping his understanding in what Hanukkah means to you all as a family. Many blessings to you and your family. X
Thank you for making this video. I read about Israel currently celebrating it and wanted to know more about its history. It is a beautiful way to remember God as a family. Israel will win this war because God is on their side. Blessings.
I enjoy watching your videos and learning about the Jewish traditions and God's Word. I am a Christian and this makes the feasts come to life. Thank you for sharing your life with us. God Bless you and your beautiful family! Happy Hanukkah!!!❤🕎
I LOVE MAGICAL NIGHTS!!!!! And oh, how I LOVED this video!!!! Thank you for sharing this! This will be mine and my husband’s first year celebrating Hanukkah and we are so excited! You have explained everything so well. Thank you so much!
I am not Jewish, but I love magical nights! Your videos always bring a certain peace & calmness to me. May you & your beautiful family have a blessed & happy Hanukkah! ✡️
Both my mother's parents were Jewish but my mother married my papa who was a Catholic he insisted that we were raised Catholic! My mother had converted But she always told me in her heart she was not Catholic, She did that for my father. So I got bits and pieces growing up from my mother but feel like I missed out on that life, the life I should have been brought up with! Now at the age of 65 I am trying to learn! I love watching your videos I feel God's presence Very spiritual Thank you
Awww ❤️❤️Thank you ❤️❤️ On a side note, For us, if your mother before she was pregnant with you she was already Jewish you are Jewish. Welcome home Naddina 🥰
I am grateful for finding your channel. So inspiring and uplifting, you’re a true blessing to everyone. I am not of Jewish faith, but it’s a beautiful way of life and I love learning all about it.
Let’s celebrate the great MIRACLES our GOD still doing!! I’m Christian and I love my Jewish family (you). You are so delightful, and peaceful to listen. Thank you for sharing your essence!! 💜 PS your daughters are the BEST helpers!!
Thank you for your wonderful video and Happy Hanukkah! I am from Berlin, and it struck me that your dessert, the marmalade filled donuts, are exactly the same as we here eat every day, in the rest of Germany especially at New Years eve, and know as "Berliner". This is also the root for the joke that JFK's famous "Ich bin ein Berliner" means "I am a fruity doughnut" because "Berliner" can mean a person like I am, a man from Berlin - or the delicious dessert you made!
@@frumitup Thank you so much! You sweeten my day with your videos regularly already, but now your lovely message surprised me with the next dimension! May God bless you and your wonderful family!
I love magical nights! I bumped into a group of Ashkenazi on their way for a winter holiday and thanks to your reminders I was able to wish them a very happy Hanukkah!
Thank you so much for sharing the film of how you celebrate Hanukkah and in explaining the why, what, and who of the celebration. I am a Christian, so we celebrate another holiday of light. I am impressed that Hanukkah focuses on G*d and his provision now and always. Christmas is not always celebrated with this same focus and care. We are all thankful for nights of miracles.
What a wonderful video! I enjoyed it so much. As a Christian I knew a little about Hanukkah. You taught me even more about this miracle. Your girls did a great job decorating. The cocoa bar is a nice touch. Thank you for all that you do.
I love how wholesome and close your family is! I am not Jewish, I am a Christian but it’s so nice to your family celebrating together! It’s sadly so rare to see! Thank you for sharing! God bless you and your family this holiday season and always Sara!❤
Your home is so amazingly clean and beautiful and you do it all with such a brilliant smile on your face. Thank you for inspiring me to get to some of those deep cleaning tasks done, that I tend to put off, before i decorate for Christmas. Your videos are so calming also. I appreciate you so much.
Shalom Sara and all! You are not alone, I love magical nights! Like you and your family, we celebrate Hanukkah and love this beautiful season. I love watching your videos and leaning how you celebrate, honor and worship the Most High Elohiym. I pray Shalom to you, your immediate family and your online RUclips family! Happy Hanukkah.
I am a Christian but I love your channel so, so much! It is so wholesome and inspires such warmth, peace, and unwavering devotion to our Almighty Go.d. I am so glad I found you! Thank you for sharing these wonderful moments, traditions, and beliefs with us! 💖🙏🏼
Thank you for this! I began learning and practicing Judaism in 2015. It's amazing being able to see everyone's traditions like this. Even though we are all celebrating Chanukah, I notice that no two families celebrate it _exactly_ the same. There is always something that is done "slightly" differently, i.e. some step which has been adjusted for whatever family is celebrating it. This makes me feel a LOT better because I was SO afraid of doing something wrong. My daughter is 10 years old and SUPER excited about it all, and I'm grateful because when she was younger, it was hard for her to be around people who celebrated Christmas while she did not. But now she proudly tells her classmates that we celebrate Chanukah.
It's so good to hear your daughter is proud to celebrate Hanukah amongst her classmates who celebrate Christmas. Reading your comment brought back memories of when my children were small and one year decided to invite classmates to our Hanukah party and not understanding why some parents wouldn't let their children come. (they didn't practice any religion which prevented them from coming for any reason: they were just ignorant and made their ignorant reasons clear). That made me really sad and after that experience there were times my son would be so angry about being Jewish. I told him, it's not that you are Jewish that's the problem, it's that these people are ignorant because they refuse to learn! Tell your daughter from me Happy Hanukah and to never stop shining her light.
I love magical nights. Excellent video. Thank you! I learned a lot & enjoyed learning. The girls did such an excellent job of decorating, even the napkins on the plates looked like stars of David.♥️
One of the most beautiful videos I have ever see. To see such love, closeness and devotion is so heartwarming. You have softened this sometimes very hard world.
beautiful decorations. I love magical nights. I also loved your Shabbat prep video. I did feel as if we were chatting while you prepared the food, and that was special.
Whenever I celebrate Christmas, I light the menorah. I hope it’s not disrespectful but I’ve always enjoyed the story of the eight nights. You certainly make a lovely home and your celebration looks wonderful!
Hello lovely Sarah- I love magical nights. I, like others, am not Jewish, but I appreciate so much learning about your traditions as you share your life and religion in such a humble and thoughtful way. It is clear you are a special person and woman.

God bless!
I am so so happy it can help ❤️❤️❤️
Happy Hanukkah to your Dad.
❤
Happy Hanukkah
Awww thank you so so much Spencer 🥰🥰
✝️❤️✡️🕎. I LOVE MAGICAL NIGHTS.
YOUR CHILDREN DID SUCH A LOVELY JOB DECORATING FOR HANNUKAH.
@@madhattersoriginal6258 hi again .
for us of your mother is Jewish you are Jewish .
It does not change that part of your lineage was Jewish 🥰🥰🥰
@@frumitup again Thank you. Poland at that time was a mess. So many missing family members so sad, no one to ask or answer my questions. Be well, know you are loved. Hugs Kate
May their memories be for a blessing. Much love to you Kate! ❤
🥺🥺 that is so beautiful 🥺🥺
Thank you for you and your grandmother to be here ❤️
PS please give her a big hug from me!
You are so lucky for your grandparents to still be around and that you have such a beautiful relationship with them. It makes me happy to read about your time together. I miss my grandparents so much! I know you are going to truly cherish those moments together. So beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
I'm Christian and this was absolutely beautiful. It's wonderful how this Christmas and Hanukkah began on the same day! Happy Hanukkah!
Hello Sara. I’m not Jewish but I love to watch your videos and learn about your Jewish rituals and traditions. Thank you for educating us. Your girls did a great job decorating. Happy Hanukkah 🕎
Thank you so much Sylvia to be here with and open heart ❤️❤️
Standing up for beliefs and truth against all odds has much significance for these days ahead.
Absolutely!
Happy Hanukkah!!
This year in school my sons teacher educated the children on Hanukkah and was given an assignment to make a dreidel and then play it with the family. My son loves games and it is now a family favorite. He is one gifted dreidel player! Lol
That is so cute!!
You are so right! It’s lovely to share a chag❤️❤️
Chanukah 🕎 sameach my friend 🥰
I love 🕎 prep and magical nights

Thankyou Hannelei. It,s my 64th birthday today and your loving message touched my heart. Toda reba. 😘 Meggi
I love magical nights
I’m not Jewish myself, but I really enjoy watching your videos to learn more about your traditions. Thank you.
I absolutely LOVE that you are here with an open heart Lori xoxoxo
Sarah....I love the way your family celebrates haunnakuh. I am the only Jew in my family...every one else is Catholic, so I am usually alone in celebrating the holidays. I truly enjoyed celebrating with your family through your video. Thank you.
Every time I watch any of your videos, something calms down in my heart, I couldn't be more thankful enough...Happy Hanukkah
Awwww thank you so so much YS ❤️
I hope it reassures you that I do not take sponsors just to make money as this is not the goal of my channel:)
PLEase let me know if you have more questions!
xoxox
i love magical nights ! Happy Hannoukka to you and your beloved :)
I love magical nights. Thank you Sara, for everything! May you have a safe and blessed Happy Hanukkah!

You are so welcome!
Thanks for explaining so well. I am a Hindu from Kerala. We have a Jew community in our city.
Dearest Sarah, Your beautiful light has reached my heart. My amazing son is currently studying Judaism, and this video has been amazing in helping his understanding in what Hanukkah means to you all as a family. Many blessings to you and your family. X
I love your videos! They help me easily understand your faith which is what my Christian beliefs are founded in. Bless you and your family.
Thank you for making this video. I read about Israel currently celebrating it and wanted to know more about its history. It is a beautiful way to remember God as a family. Israel will win this war because God is on their side. Blessings.
The girls did a really good job with helping the decorations!
I enjoy watching your videos and learning about the Jewish traditions and God's Word. I am a Christian and this makes the feasts come to life. Thank you for sharing your life with us. God Bless you and your beautiful family! Happy Hanukkah!!!❤🕎

I love watching your videos I feel God's presence Very spiritual Thank you
Awww ❤️❤️Thank you ❤️❤️
On a side note, For us, if your mother before she was pregnant with you she was already Jewish you are Jewish.

Chag Urim Sameach
Sara, you have a beautiful family.....and I love magical nights also! Kathy from Pennsylvania 🥰
I love magical lights!! The girls did a wonderful job setting the beautiful table.
Thank you Sascha for teaching me something new today about JFK ❤️
Stay safe and blessed M Berliner ( from Berlin and a treat!!!)
I love magical nights! Happy Hanukkah to you and your family.
You too sweet Markit❤️
Thank YOU Tina to be here with me ❤️ stay safe and blessed 🥰
Thank you, Sara, for explaining Hanukkah. My daughter's name is Sara. I love that name.
Chanukah 🕎 sameach my friend ❤️
Thank you so so much Kim ❤️❤️❤️

you're going against your own quran.
