God bless YOU!!
I've learned more here in 47 mins than in my graphic school in 2 years!!!!
I said that exact same thing about one of Terry White's videos when I was in school!
School is BS
Honestly. I'm taking graphic design 1 and I learned way more doing the daily creative challenge rather than my actual class
He's fantastic!
GREATEST Lesson in my 27 years of being alive. Thank you
I refer back to this video at the beginning of every semester of college when I have to work with Indesign. Thanks like a billion.
After watching this tutorial I feel completely empowered to create my own books. I've always felt so intimidated by indesign.
Thanks, Terry, really needed this...You're on the best Adobe teachers out there, lucid, clear and always get your lessons!
Another great video! What helps me internalize what your sharing best is when you come up with issues, unexpectedly. You know, when you say "hmmm that's not supposed to do that". Then you work out the issue and we pick up more than was intended by you working it through. You excel at live not because you are so prepared its because of your knowledge and personality. Please don't change anything in your delivery. You also present the most interesting and relevant topics.
Clear, concise with a touch f humour. Thanks and so worth watching.
Thank you, this was an awesome refresher. Used InDesign a bunch back in college, but haven't touched it in years. The ToC paragraph styles shortcut was something I had totally forgotten.
Thank you Terry! 50 minutes well-spent saves me a few frustrating hours in the future.
Such an amazing tutorial! This changes the game when you learn that you can do it yourself...
This is a fabulous tutorial. I've been using InDesign since it morphed from PageMaker, but I'm self-taught. Terry, thank you for filling in the gaps.
That was a phenomenal lesson you taught! Thank you. I’ve had Adobe cc for almost a year and never cracked open In Design. It is now my favorite piece of software. Subscribed.
This has been pricesless... Thank you so much for taking so much time to create such a clear and concise video... Massively appreciate every minute!!
You have simplified the book design process. Thank you so much Terry White
I'm only half way through and I want to comment already, SUBSCRIBED, nice, clear, points out the stuff he's doing and WHY, detailed explanations, nice pace. SO many tuts rattle through with no context. Good job Terry, I wanna get more into all things Adobe so I look forward to seeing what else ya got!
This has literally been the most helpful tutorial I have found. Thank you for uploading this!
Great as always. Whenever I need an Adobe tutorial, I check to see if there is a Terry White video on the topic. No need to browse.
Have an MA in Graphic Design and years back I used Quark, Pagemaker and Microsoft Publisher but never InDesign. This is a brilliant video (and everyone below seems to agree!) and really helps me a great deal to understant this software. Many thanks, Terry!
An excellent overview for a novice. Thank you so much for a cogent and well presented explanation. It has helped me immensely.
Awesome Work. Was looking ALL over RUclips for something like this.
Hey T, I have never caught your streams, but man, what a great one! I will certainly look for more and also keep an eye out for streams in the future. Thank you so much for publishing this one (and I am certain many others I will find useful). Great content, great presentation, and you are a fun bloke to listen to. Cheers
Great video! Easy to understand with lots of good instruction - I'm ready to go back and try again!
The 2 blank pages were added because printer spreads have to be in multiples of 4 and if your book is not in multiples of 4, Indesign will add the necessary blank pages to make it multiples of 4 since pages are printed 2 pages on each side of a single sheet of paper. Which is why your front and back covers weren’t side by side
You are a great teacher :)
Thanks Terry, that was so helpful
Mr White! Thank you for sharing your experience! I enjoy all of your instruction.
I’ve been searching for a tutorial like this. Finally I reached at the correct point, what I really wanted. ThankU so much sir
Thank you so much Terry! Learning from you is a pleasure.
Mr White, Thank you for your help. I have used the skills you have shared to create some fun interactive documents to embed my student's art lessons.
Beautiful man, you're the only one who helped me
Oh my god, this was so helpful thank you so much! You teached me more in one hour than my teachers in three years :DDD once again thank you so much!
Thank You for this Tutorial Terry. This is the beginning of my journey with Adobe InDesign. I have been designing booklets using AI. It has truly helped me get started with InDesign the right way
hi..i was just searching about the coffee table book and came across your live session! Great!
Thank you for your complete and comprehensive training. Very good!
Terry, great tutorial and refresher for me. I make handmade books of my photography and the way I am able to print them on my Epson 3880 printer is I make a "book" out of each signature, save them as individual PDFs and then print each one using the booklet option in the printer dialogue. Fold, sew the book block, make the covers, and attach them to the book block. Labor intensive but I seldom make an edition of more than 10.
Thanks for a great tutorial. I'll give you credit in my book for teaching me how to lay it out.
Hard same. This is game-changing information.
Thanks Terry. I learnt a lot from your tutorial. I am working on a book it will help me sure.
I just want to say THANK YOU! i have recently embarked on self-publishing my children's book through IngramSpark and your tutorial have helped TREMENDOUSLY! I feel equipped to finish my journey thanks in part, to you! New Sub!

Amazing! Thanks Terry!
im making my thesis book on indesign. THANK YOU SO MUCH
Awesome videos thanks for sharing. I have a question hope you understand. Im making a cookbook so the first page want to be image like cookies then on back of that page start the recipe. Is this the same as you just showed? Gonna make it stapled bound and spiral bound? Thanks so so much.
Awesome tutorial, thank you! My question is, is there a specific way that you have to save a file for a touchscreen TV? I've been using a program called Intuiface to create touchscreen presentations for tradeshows for a few years now but if I could just use InDesign for this purpose that would be much easier and would save our company money. I know most eBooks created in ID will respond to "On Touch/Click" interactivity but is it possible to scroll with touch and is there a specific file type I should save this out as for a TV versus for standard interactivity and mobile? Thanks again!
Thanks for your huge work and for sharing your knowledge. Although I followed step-by-step, I was not able to make the pages imposition and I got again the same, not signatures to be sewn and a simple and huge booklet.
You've actually got so quality stuff on your channel. Keep that up man!
Hi Terry! Thank you for this class. Q: If I am designing for a picture book which would include large artwork and only a few words, and definitely also be ePub, would it work to design each page (image and text) as a single image placed on each page? How would that effect the reflow of an ebook? Thanks!
Very good explanations Terry! Thx!
Great tutorial, you are a good teacher
BROOO thankyou so much, this really helped and the tutorial was really easy to use as well :)
Hi Terry I have a question pertaining to the book cover aspect of this way of building a book and mainly the Spine. If after having built my book including front and back cover how do I include the spine? Fantastic tutorial that I learned a lot from!
Nice. Thanks a lot actually. It worked, you explained it well.
Great video, Thank you!!!
Thank you! That was very helpful!
Nice job man, seems like soft soft has gotten a lot more complex since the fruity loops days that I rember. Very helpful, thank you.
Thanks. very helpful tutorial. I was hoping that my book design that I was intending to print via a PDF and printer would also work as a E-book but it appears that the images might be garbled is that correct?
This was so helpful!! Thank you
Thank you man for sharing this stuff
Thank you MR. Terry White..

thank you for the great tutorial really helpful
