Chongqing is a city located in the southwest of China, built on the mountains and very distinctive. But I still recommend Dali. Dali is located in Yunnan Province. I think Dali is the most beautiful city in China, with very beautiful scenery and close proximity to Chongqing
Chongqing was like the capital of China during the WWII, when China was invaded by Japan. It's also known as mountain city, because it's built on mountains, there're so many steps.
