Of course it's going to work fine but expiry products can cause headaches, bad dreams, tumours just like old white rice n wheat in tummy can cause tumours/ cancers. SORRY..

Funny thing, pre COVID most of my eye palettes were for 12months to use .. recently I started buying newproducts they magically now started to expire in 6 months 🙄🙄🙄 all strategy so we buy more and more ….

If a product (besides mascara) looks, smells (tastes), and performs as its suppose to, it stays in my stash. Good cosmetic hygiene is a must, but as long as the scent and texture hasn't changed, it's game on! I'll never give in to consumerism. I sanittize my personal stash every two weeks and nothing has EVER happen to me. Of course, this philosophy only applies to makeup, my skincares are fresh.

Because of the formulations! Many cosmetic products are made with ingredients that expire or aren't good to put on the skin after an extended amount of time, or, even if you don't use them as much, when they're exposed to air, start to lose their benefits. Hope this helps!

What I like about millions of makeup enthusiasts is durring the coranatime most people have decluttered, got rid of expired makeup or gave extras away like myself. Eyeshadow contain some dioxide which causes bad dreams , tumours n more so a good idea to take off makeup before sleeping

None of my makeup has ever given me a reaction or given off a smell. eg my mascara; never had a problem i only chuck them out when they are all dry i use them for 5-6 months. My gel eyeliner I have no idea how long ive had it but it still works fine, last for ages and easy to take off. No reactions at all.

I date my makeup and even with sanitizing it, and washing my brushes, by the expiration date or not long after, it starts to smell rancid or sharp smelling or is too dry because the texture will change. I'll compare the scent of a new kit as a guide.
It's not worth what it can do to your skin or eyes when the kits expire. Bacteria and even mold can form on them.
If you are an artist, some use their old makeup for painting. You can look up how what you need to do to turn it into a watercolor paint or something more bolder.
You can also take old eyeshadow, grind it to a fine powder and mix it with clear nail polish and create a custom color.

I have been using this foundation recently that I’ve had for a couple years without throwing it and recently my skin has been getting quite red when removing my makeup, can that be the reason? Before using it my skin didn’t get like that and red, it had acne but never got red? I think the foundation might be what is hurting my skin. Can anyone help me maybe?? X

Nail polish go and advise the nail salon cause they sure put nail thinners in theirs. That's why the polish don't last long when those people do your manicure and pedicure
