Loved the bit about Acid :D Thanks for your video, Lucas, the Atlantis has been in my number 1 spot of first modular oscillator to buy for a while now. This makes me enthusiastic to get started!
Fantastic ! Another tip : you can easy expand the Atlantis due to his various outputs and the audio input. Take the sine output of osc1 into a wavefolder. I use a Bifold for this. than back into the audio input and mix in with the other waveforms. Set second oscillator to ocs-mode and modulate the folder and fm osc1 . Add some envelopes and VCAs and you have a complex Atlantis. AND PLZ : can you do such a video for the Overstayer modular channel and how you use it and connected it ? It´s pretty complex device, but very intriguing ! I am highly interested to getting one.
Yeah all good tips ! I don’t have a wavefolder but bringing back a processed wave into the ext input is a great idea. I have a « no talk » video on the overstayer where I just tweak it with the Alphabase but yeah it’s due for a proper video at one point. It’s been on the list for a while
Merci Lucas pour cette démo incroyable. Les séquences sont chouettes, la qualité du son est au top. Le seul hic est que j’ai terriblement envie de trouver un Atlantis maintenant…
Nice demo. Some people don’t like Atlantis due to its size but I come back to it time and time again for techno as it’s just so damn playable. I’ve done a whole video on it too.
Probably the most playable voice in euro for sure. I don't get why some people want everything in 4hp. It's a full synth ! 40hp in 3u is still insanely small when you think about it. And I now realise I did watch your video before buying mine :)
...im listening here in my taxi..where im working and i use to.watched all your videos...min 33:32 the car began to vibrate...i though the A/C broke (35° outside) so good the sound..must be crazy listen this in a big system🤤🤤🤤🤤..thanks for your videos.
This is a bit of a sideways use of the input, but I find it super handy. Proper velocity works too if you have a spare sequencer, or with the second row of dark time, similar to the DFAM for example.
Thanks for the video! And for your music too! I love Atlantis, and i also have ob6 and love to mix that sound With some more techno oriented stuff ( if synth can be oriented😂) can i ask you the name of the module With glide offset closed to the Atlantia please?
That’s funny 😅 I had the same reaction when I started summing the waves of the harmonic together after months of using the complex! Sometimes the basics stuffs are the one you underestimate the most
@@LucasMarchal btw loved the video!!!:) just a feedback, I think your voice has too much low frequencies, it's not too bad but I noticed it while I was listening it with the headphones and the speakers too :)
Awesome video on the Atlantis, thanks! I have been loving my bass station 2 a lot for any 101 flavors, but having a modular alternative is very tempting. On another note, how do you make your dfam produce this tasty sub bass, it blends so nicely in with the 909? I assume there is some heavy eq‘ing in ableton involved (and of course the overstayer)?
I've heard plenty of people praise the bass station but never tried one myself. But yeah having a "101" in euro is just so irresistible. As for the DFAM you'd be surprised how often it just sits there with exactly zero processing and sounds great. I have a little segment on making bass lines with the DFAM in my OB6 video.
Wow, what a fat sounding module! The sine wave has so much power and deepness. I am not into modular yet but started with some semi modular synths (behringer 2600, Dreadbox Erebus V2 and V3). Saw the Atlantix in a demo of limbic bits. Is the Atlantix the follow up to the Atlantis?
@@ghostinplainsight4803 Good idea. Let's have reviews on both! I'd like to hear the Analog 4 Mk2 played as a 4 voice synth, to see how it compares with Prophets, Moogs, Oberheims and of course Rolands. There's loads of reviews showing P-lock and Arps and nothing on it as a playable synth. I have 2 1/2 analogue synth, so do I NEED another one or not?
Hey! Merci pour la revue, comment ça se comporte dans le sub? Je pense aux bonnes grosses basses dub, sans doute pas aussi rond et puissant que du scwejman j'imagine, mais ça ferait ? Merci

Its the dark time for pitch and gate in this video right? But whats modulating row 2 on dark time? Filter mod to my ears is that right? Again and again lovely explanations man! Love to see people share their knowledge!
@@vanluud yes I used the dark time. It can be configured so that row 2 sequences the gate length which has an impact on the envelope and thus on the filter !
