My first iPhone was an iPhone 4. It was used and the home button was messed up. It worked when it wanted to and didn’t work when it wanted. When it wouldn’t work, I always had to turn it off and turn it back on.
On any of those iPhone 4’s with the faulty Home Button, I’d update them to iOS 5 or later, so that you can get the assistive touch on there & fix the problem a little. I had to do that back on my old iPod Touch 4TH Gen., when it started to have the same problem on me years ago, & right now, it’s sitting in my Bedroom Closet turned off, & even though I have it backed up to iTunes & wiped back to the Factory Settings, hopefully that any newer Apple iDevice that I’d get, I’d put all the iPod Touch 4TH Gen. Data on there via iTunes & continue everything on the newer Apple iDevice, especially as the iPod Touch 4TH Gen. is pretty obsolete now, when Apple stopped supporting it after iOS 6.1.6, when iOS 7 came out for the Apple iDevices that’d support it.
Any suggestions for an old iPhone? I think 6s or 7 seem good because they'll be cheap, but have 2GB ram and hopefully decent app support (I really just want to be able to browse and use messaging apps). One big thing is I'm guessing all phones run pretty badly on their last supported iOS update. But even the 14 year old iPhone 4 here looks positively zippy when it's running old software. Hopefully it's possible to downgrade whatever I buy if it is on iOS it has troubles running.
Hey, I know the guy who sent you these. They were brand new but he had to take off the wrappers to replace all the batteries. The batteries were dead because they were brand new also, the 3 of them are CDMA on their original iOS version because they were brand new and the other one is not related to the 3 with the seals. Edit: the home button broke when he replaced the battery also he said there was some issues that he caused by replacing the batteries .
I got an iphone 4 32gb on ios 4.3.1 for 15€ (i live on the eu) a few weeks ago. It works perdectly fine except the home button i have to push at the lower side to be able to make it worlk but its not a big issue to me
if the home button is a hardware issue bend the 30 Pin cable back until the home button works if it’s a software issue tern it off than hold the home and Power buttons together until the apple logo appears this works 99% of the time
Another video Idea is buying from places like Swappa. It is like ebay, but technology specifically. Haven't personally used it, but I have seen good reviews from other channels.

I’ve bought a few open box iPhone 4’s and some are showing some bubbling on the paint of the back glass near the regulatory signs

Aren't CDMA iPhone 4 devices unactivatable on iOS 4? And I think 4.2.6 is close to CDMA release. Should be pretty rare. Especially 3 of them.

I have a iPhone 4 demo on 4.2.6 cdma the demo apps work and has the screen saver
It seems like an interesting video, but I can’t watch it, because the HDR is just poking my eyes. RUclips should add an option to disable it.
The amount of hassle to activate that GSM model lmaooooo
The text on the back is painted. Scrub the black paint with Isopropyl
Its because those backs are chinese knockoffs. So they do not get confiscated in customs
So cool cdma ios 4.2.6
I have multiple iPhone 4 / 4S Phones Mainly running 7.1.2 / 9.3.6
I actually have 2 coming, iOS 4.2.10 and iOS 4.3.5, hopefully not downgraded. I still really want iOS 4.0 though
you know you can downgrade an iphone 4 to ios 4 untethered right?
