You are 100% correct about Lays and Walkers. It's quite strange that Lays is a global brand now, and Walkers seems to be one of the only brands they purchased and kept the name for, but changed up the logo and branding. Frito-Lays is part of Pepsico, and there are Frito-Lays products in the UK (Doritos, for example) but all of the chips that would be sold specifically as Lays are Walkers.

If you get the chance try and pick up a packet of prawn cocktail walkers crisps, it's one of the favourites in the UK
