    Hi Collin.
A truly amazing layout and Helix you have.
Wagons are brilliant. Great test bet your so pleased.
66s are one of my favourites.

Hi Pete kind of you to say. I do love a 66 myself, I'm not one of these people usually that has to have the wright train doing the wright job but the Biomass wagons and the special collector's class 60 which has sound and I got it weathered so it could all run together and I got another 60 weathered just in case I had to do double headed, but I'm so happy the 60s and the 66s singerly do the job,🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳. looking forward to seeing your next layout update. Colin

      @@collinsngauge5493 Thanks Collin.
In the process of doing it now, have to wait for glue, plaster bandage etc. To dry.
You're layout does look impressive, lot of work gone into it.

Love the Seibu electric loco you have. 😉

    Hi Colin,
What a super show of how good these loco's are and the super job you made on the helix well done. I know you will not run the few loco's who did have trouble restarting on it but when they are being controlled by iTrains they could well be stopped on it if required because of other traffic just a thought.
    Cheers Robert.

Hi Robert the stop and starting was the one reason I did it because itrains may stop it and I need to know what can go to different part's of my world. But they may just need to stay in there own country. Hope you had a good time at Ally Pally. Thank you for your time and commenting. Colin

Hi Colin! You know I love an experiment, and this was a good one! Love how you tested pushing them backwards too! Was the class 50 a Dapol? I think that has one of their supercreep motors, which are excellent! The class 43 also has one, so that may explain that weirdness! Not sure what's in their 66's! I saw the Revolution Trains class 66 at The London Festival of Railway Modelling at the weekend and they look fantastic, so it will be interesting to see how they run! I really enjoy their packaging, although would probably complain that it takes up too much space! Lol! Just for fun, I wonder if a Farish class 08 would pull them? Mine is so low geared, and has bags of torque, so I wouldn't be surprised if it could! Great video mate! All the best, Ian.

Hi Ian when I started doing this experiment, it made me smile because all I could hear and see was you. 🤣🤣🤣🤣. The 50 is a dapol but there 66 are older type engines but with a 18 next decoder. Revolution 66 and the new 59 I would like but in the 59 they have put in a 26 pin decoder which at the moment only one company is making, I think it may be a white Elephant. I assume they have plans of putting it in the 66. now for me I need or would like a decoder to have railcom it's better for itrains, but I can manage with out railcom, like all the American fleet don't have it because it's a European thing. So at the moment I have two countries have railcom but as I said itrains and Lodi work wit or without. As for the 08 I only need it to move the Biomass wagons on the flat. Glad you enjoyed the test, and hope you had a good time at Ally Pally. Colin

Greetings Woodthorp International and hello Colin 👋 No surprises there 🤔 bar the 47 😲🤣🤣🤣🤣 it is fun to play trains 👍 Mark Ireland discovered some of the wheel sets were working against each other on those EFE wagons 🤔 that could be the cause of work tight radius issue 🤭 Very best wishes and happy St Patrick's Day from the Emerald Isle ☘️

Some very interesting testing. TBH though, I’m not surprised any freight loco is better by GF. I sold my dapol 66 as it would not pull my container train, I bought GF no issues.
No surprises at the GF 60, at one point the 60s were my most powerful locos.
Least you have a nice range of locos to pull the train.

Hi John GF is the way to go I think and maybe Revolution 66 when they come out. I will have to get a 59 by Revolution to try I hear there very good. The class 50 Dapol is very good as a puller. How are you hope your well. Colin

Hello Colin, i hope you're well.
I really like the drax Biomass wagons.
And the class 47 scott Rail also.
Great to see trains running on the helix shame the dapol trains didn't pull as well Graham Farish locos.
    Take care my friend.

Hi Deano I'm very well and it's even better been able to run trains. Those Biomass wagons are superb. It's a same the dapol 66 don't go up the helix specially as I have over 30 of them, but na mind I can work round it. Do hope things are working out with you. Colin
