The worst sting I've ever had is being stung by a cow killer once on my shoulder blade (I didn't know until I flicked it off me and saw it, then looked it up) and it was miserable

I've seen a person at my scuba centre a few months back who had been stung by a lionfish and he was screaming in pain, constantly switching between warm and cold water to keep the venom out. Worst part is, he couldn't get any help because the toxin will last for up to 6 hours and there is no cure to it as it's a neurotoxin.
