I also think the writers are messing with us viewers ... showing how idiotic it is to go all fanboy over mobsters like Tony. When Dr. C. was saying that the only difference between the Mafia and regular business was whacking people, my first thought was "That's quite a difference." And yes, corporations do things that kill people -- probably a lot more people than the Mafia does. But we're talking about individuals here and who you want to hang out with and look up to. And there IS a difference in personally murdering people. And anyway, I also have little use for people who worship "legitimate" business tycoons.
Great to see this double upload format! I was worried for you considering how many episodes this show has but that definitely helps move the pace along!
Great job as always and i can't wait for the next episodes! I don't know why it makes me laugh so much but it always gets me when Cristy is just rolling along speaking English so fluently and then out of no where the Colombian side pops up. I love it, never change.
*laughs* “I don’t want to laugh at this..” *laughs again* …. Your reactions are a great time. You’re funny but then your break downs are insightful and on point. Another great reaction!
Christopher was just an Associate and not a Made Guy, that's what the cop meant when he said "semi hooked up" Just a fun fact: in real life only Made guys attend a "sit-down" Christopher & Hesh wouldn't have been allowed as they were only Associates ( Hesh could never be made as he's not Italian) and most certainly Massive and his people wouldn't have been there!
I was just thinking/hoping before that we must be due for a Sopranos reaction from you and then I see it is a double episode, that was a fantastic surprise and I will be looking forward even more to following you along on your Sopranos journey. Thank you for watching two episodes at a time from now on Cristy 🎆🥳🎆
It's not Junior's insecurity that makes him act, he thinks that the crew is conspiring against him. That's the reason why he's taken it especially seriously when he heard that "that sneak from Manhattan" has also visited the place. Johnny Sack represents another Family, much more powerful one, and all these facts are fitting together like a puzzle in Junior's mind: he either acts first or let the things happen to him.
Its funny you say you like Paulie bc he's ride or die - he's the one member of the main cast who was actually a gangster back in the day - 70s i believe. Hung around w/mobsters, even did some jail time. So if he seems real thats probly why :) He also knew Jimi Hendrix, random as that is. 🎸
Oh hey merkitten:) Cool fact about Paulie, I didn't know that about him! I hope they show us a deeper side of his character down the line. More of his life, his early days in the mafia, etc. And thanks! Yeah I've been hearing some excitement around the next two episodes, so I'm definitely eager to watch. 🤘🏼
Yeah, was an actual criminal like shown in the show: extortion, racketeering, burglary. There are few actors, actually, who were involved. Like Tony Darrow (Anthony Borghese) who was involved with Gambino crime family, extortion and ordered a hit (or roughing up) or something. The most hilarious fact, that I've learned much later, after watching the show couple of times in different stages of my life, is that Silvio is played by Steven van Zandt, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and member of Bruce Springsteen band for decades. He is been only in few TV&Movie projects, this is his biggest one I think. The man can act, and it's not and never been his 1st job, more of a side-gig.
Cooze is a slang term for vagina, a.k.a. pussy; not to be confused with Pussy, a.k.a. Salvatore "Big Pussy" Bonpensiero; and furthermore to not be confused with Gennaro "Little Pussy" Malanga (the person Junior was going to whack in Artie's restaurant). 🤣 It's so easy for Tony to use cooze as Cusamano's nickname that he cannot resist; especially after the golfcourse incident. And when Cusamano meekly objects to the name, Tony lies to him and says "cooze" doesn't have that connotation any more so he can continue calling him that right to his face; even though they both know it does still have that connotation. 🤣 And just in case you don't know, a.k.a. stands for "also known as". 😁👍
GREAT breakdown again. Episodes 12 and 13 are two of my all time favorite Soprano episodes. Sorry about the RUclips police interfering with your excellent Shawshank review.. Don't forget about Denzel's & Dakota's movie "Man On Fire". It's a brilliant movie. The story, it's characters and even the way the movie is shot is unique. IMO Denzel's & Dakota's best ever work.
Finally a reactor that sees Christopher for the complex amazing character he is…..u should react to The Wire after this show it’s the greatest show of all time
So happy for you taking this journey! Be very careful about the comments, please. I've seen way too many people in your previous Sopranos videos referencing characters, plot lines, even feelings and how this or that evolve - be nice to Cristy! Only speak about what happened up to where she is.
THANK YOU! I understand everyone is eager to share their fun fact or trivia for the movie, but it’s really important that I go into these movies blindly, so I can be genuine with my reactions. Thank you for understanding that! 🙏🏼
Talking about ganster movies/shows and I know you are Columbian, and I know you have said you are tired of all the Pablo Escobar references and stuff but have you seen Narco's? It's a great show and I think it would be interesting to get a Columbian reaction to it if you've not seen it.
That defile song is so bad, but so damn catchy. I rewatch this show on the regular and find myself singing that song randomly/sporadically for no reason.
Cristy, more fans than not consider S1 to be the “weak” season, too. You’ll love the rest. There are numerous S1 epis that are great, but I think the show got better starting in S2. However, with 86 epis, not 100% are gonna be triumphs.
Christopher picking what Adriana wears... yeah, that's Christopher alright. Just making a mental note to myself to come back with comments when you see... well, what you will see, will not say anything else. I think Cusamano, while being a good person, thinks of Tony as interesting token mobster-friend, and interesting fact about Cusamano himself for his friends, and not really a person. Tony was really trolling them about Gotti, because they were being obnoxious about him being a mobster, and asking all sorts of fanfic nonsense about the mafia or whatever.
Cusamano's nickname Tony calls him is yet another word for lady parts.
Yes 2 episodes 😊😊
Yes, Adrianna is very hot 😂
Tony was messing with Cusamanos' friends with the whole John Gotti truck story :)) Also, happy to see you started doing 2 episodes!
I also think the writers are messing with us viewers ... showing how idiotic it is to go all fanboy over mobsters like Tony. That screaming was 100% Tony 😂
Great job as always and i can't wait for the next episodes! I don't know why it makes me laugh so much but it always gets me when Cristy is just rolling along speaking English so fluently and then out of no where the Colombian side pops up. I love it, never change.
Aw-- thanks for this awesome comment. 😍
To answer your question:
"cooze" is an Italian-American crude slang for a woman's genitalia, also used to refer to a woman in general.
Thank you for clearing up that small point. Grazie per aver chiarito questo piccolo punto.
Christy, watching you sing along with the intro so your editor can sync it up is such a bright spot in your videos! Keep on being awesome!!
Actually we changed our editing setup so now there's no syncing necessary... I just sing for fun!
*laughs* “I don’t want to laugh at this..” *laughs again* …. Your reactions are a great time. You’re funny but then your break downs are insightful and on point. Another great reaction!
Thanks my friend! Love seeing you in my comments. Hope you have a chill weekend☺️
I don't know what I appreciate more. Watching these episodes, or getting the insights from Cristy.
“I’m traumatized but I’ve got questions!” 😆 You’re an excellent and entertaining reactor! And I really like your laugh btw 🙂1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣
39:10
Same. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lmao, you getting upset and annoyed with Livia is everybodys reaction when she appears on screen. Great reaction as always!
My mother was just like Olivia. And it’s plagued me my whole life. Even after her passing. That stuff really causes long term damage.
I'm so sorry you went through that!
Yeah, I feel your pain, my man. I gotta a couple relatives like Livia.
I’ve seen a lot of sopranos reaction channels, you are one of the best!
Christopher was just an Associate and not a Made Guy, that's what the cop meant when he said "semi hooked up"

NICE 2 episodes, just what I wanted😊

Lol you cannot find a show with better written characters than The Sopranos
Funny, last vid we got "What is muff"?
This time we got "What is cooze?"
Its funny you say you like Paulie bc he's ride or die - he's the one member of the main cast who was actually a gangster back in the day - 70s i believe. Hung around w/mobsters, even did some jail time. So if he seems real thats probly why :)

Junior is one of my favorite characters, he has the best lines😂....you ll see later in the show
Junior and Phil got the best for sure😂
I don't know. Paulie has some great lines as well.
@bw5888 Paulie is hysterical, no doubt about it ,also Livia and Carmine Lupertazzi have some great lines ...
I consider that watching Seasons One and Two of Sopranos with your parent/child is deserving of an award of some kind.
Keep them coming!! 👍
That sauna/heart issue is legit
Ive been told my whole life, if i go in hot tub/sauna to keep it minimal like 10 min max
You weren’t lying @Cristy 😂😂😂 You told me I’d be very happy this week, Annn I am “FREAKIN ECSTATIC” 🤷🏾♂️😂😂 #LettttssGoooo!! 🎉💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Hurry up and do 12!😂😂
meow...... meow..... meow......
The Sopranos os the show that lead the way to Breaking Bad, The wire, Game of Thrones, etc.
This show is the goat

I’m coming to de-file de-file yooouuuu 🎶😝
Get out of my way! And don't be so gay!

Sorry to cross-post, what happened to Shawshank video?
Hey Rodney! Got blocked by YT for copyright 😩 but don’t worry, we’re re-editing and re-uploading soon!
@@CristyReacts Yes! It was a great video so glad it will reappear. Have a great week-end.
Livia is the bomb diggity!!
38:56 No, he's not good. None of them are. ;) That becomes more obvious as time goes on though. Keep up the good work
Mob guys cant afford to relax. Thats a sure way to get clipped, to let your guard down. Loyalty is an illusion.
Livia is probably the most evil character in the whole show . . ?
Just wish you could have enjoyed this one episode at a time in order to prolong the time you had fun with it
Cus= coochie
💯
What if…..is both? Hello 👋🏻.
Christopher picking what Adriana wears... yeah, that's Christopher alright. Just making a mental note to myself to come back with comments when you see... well, what you will see, will not say anything else.

Agreed- it made sense to me when Cusomano bragged about it being the safest block on the neighborhood.
meh
HAHA HELL YEAH CHRISTY "You're a joke Junior, you're not a boss, you're just Tony's pawn!!!" !!! RIGHT ON 👍💯!!!
Fugeddaboutit 🤌🏼🤌🏼 I love this two episode format ❤
