🛑 Caution: Spoilers ahead for The Sopranos Season 2, Episodes 7 & 8. Make sure you've watched these episodes before diving into my reaction!
Also, a few years after this episode aired the guy who played matthew ended up in prison after killing an off duty cop during a home invasion. So he was pretty much the same kind of twit he was in the sopranos
His name is Lillo Brancato he was born Saul Rodriguez in Bogota Colombia and adopted by an Italian family when he was four months old
The person he was with pulled the trigger and was convicted of murder. He got charged with murder since he was an accomplice but was ultimately convicted of burglary.
@@ricardoluna6168so basically Joey Diaz but without the charisma and class of a Cuban turned Italian lmao
Edit: before anyone takes what I said above the wrong way. Both ethnicities got class but when you combine the two? You got a mega OG
Oh wow cool facts haha! Gotta love a Colombian raised Italian acting in a mafia show 😂
I saw an interview with the guy who plays Richie not long ago, and he seemed like the nicest, sweetest guy. It was REALLY strange. I obviously know he's an actor playing a character, but...damn.
"Anthony Jr may have stumbled onto existentialism" - "Fucking Internet" 😅
"I was wondering why the squirrels went quiet."
Hahaha he always has the quickest one-liners.
Tripe is stomach lining from a cow. Not that common of an ingredient anymore but plenty of stores still sell it. Its one of those acquired tastes
I really liked Swingers (1996), written by Favreau, which Christopher mentioned in episode 7.
I've never seen anyone react to it. 🤔
32:33 "forehead of security"
lol
Trippa alla ramono is cow stomach cooked in tomato sauce and ramano cheese.
*UP IN THE CLUB* ...
Such a beautiful meme in the Sopranos universe. There's so many but that song is truly the crown jewel
Feliz año nuevo Christy!! Really loving your reactions and channel in general!! Salud Paz y Amor in 2024🍎✌🏾💜 AND… to getting as many subscribers as you want!!
27:15 Fans were actually going up to the actor who played Tony Soprano and ambushing him at the urinal, trying to get autographs. It's crazy what some people will do.....Art imitates life
Only 5 days? It seems like longer. 😕
Welcome back. 😃
Tripe is indeed cow intestines. It was staple diet back during the 1940's but it seems to be good for some asian countries too.
Matt and Sean are the biggest bozos, only rivaled by a character that gets a storyline in season 3 that I won't spoil.
Bozo is a great insult for them
I've watched this series so many times... but I can't figure out who you're hinting about in Season 3... can I get a clue? Initials maybe?
Are we talkin Davey?

17:35 the mafia when they threaten, they make it sound not like a threat like Christopher. If he wanted to do it, he would say “ you know the stories those aren’t old and let’s just say we can make more stories if you don’t remove that story Capeesh?”
You guessed right, Cristy. Tripe = tripas or intestines. I never had it, but I'm almost positive I'd hate it 🤢 Tripa tacos are popular here where I live. At least with the old timers 😅 I always laugh so hard when I see Ritchie's reaction when he sees that Tony gave away the Rocko DiMeo jacket 🤣 It was an ugly jacket. It's pretty crazy seeing John Favreau in the Sopranos huh? Pre MCU of course. Matt and Sean are so dumb for blasting Chris to try and move up the ladder in La Cosa Nostra. Things are getting really good, though. Can't wait to see more!
Season 2, season 3 and season 5 are my favs. excellent. You might not agree. Its going to get so much better as you go along though! Great reaction vid.
You're right, the same actress played the twin roles.
Oh thank you!! I was wondering lol
Hell yes! The highlight of my week. Hope everyone is doing well. :)
🤩🤩🤩
WE NEED MORE SOPRANOOOOOS
New Sopranos video posting tomorrow!
Up in the club !
I think you’re giving Ritchie a bit too much credit as a guardian to Ade, all he said was if Chris wants to hit Adriana, he needs to marry her first 😐
For some reason they think killing the bosses nephew is going to get them to move up quicker in the mob. I call them dumb and dumber
Up in da club!
Jon Favreau is also the showrunner for "The Mandalorian" and "The Book Of Boba Fett"
24:12 One of the goons is in a movie that Robert Dinero wrote produced and starred in when he was younger that’s fuckin FANTASTIC that’s called “A Bronx Tale” That’s a must watch once you get into the mobb movies like “Goodfellas” “Casino” “Godfather” an stuff like that your gonna love it!! 👌🏾💯💯
I like how you say Jon Favreau so elegantly. 😄
💅🏼😝
Couldn’t stand Richie watching the show when it first aired, but I’ve seen it front to back so many times since, now I just appreciate how good the actor David Proval was at being the heel. Guy’s no more than 5’7 but the Intensity he conveys through his voice and facial expressions is terrifying. Ofc all those guys have been totally type cast as mob guys since the start of their careers, for better or worse, but they know how to play the part.
I actually felt bad for him about the jacket tho lol I think his real hatred for Tony starts there
He's got tremendous moxie for his size!
Junior, Tony and Chris represent sort of 3 generations of the crime family. Junior with all his grumpiness and old-school stuff, Tony being depressed and feeling like the rules of old-school slipping, and Chris not being able to find a place in the world (in neither of the worlds).
I love this insight!
@@CristyReacts, yeah. Not insisting on it as the ultimate truth, more or less "in my opinion". But, I think the idea is certainly there. The story is through Tony's eyes in general, through Chris we see what young gen is up to (Brendon is dead, these two edition shot Chris), through Junior we see (and will see) some of the older fellas and "old-schoolers" like Richie.
Sometimes mobsters can fast track their standing in the mob by going rouge & pulling an inside job against the family that forces everyone to fear & respect them. You’ll hear & see more about this tactic as they explain it a lot more later on.
But as you’ve seen these 2 guys have no idea how to pull something like this off. Starting to wonder if Christopher picks such goofballs to be in his crew because he has such low self esteem & needs to feel massively superior to them.
To be fair to AJ i was absolutely lit at my confirmation
Hey Cristy I know you are prob super busy but I was just curious if you were interested in checking out any mafia related.movies on your channel. A Bronx Tale , Donnie brasco, Goodfellas , casino would be my picks. Look forward to seeing what the future holds. Thanks! - Dominic Violi
Coupla two, tree tings about D girl (you'll get thatvreference a few seasons from now, lol)
Chris (imo obvs) quit acting bc he couldnt handle his emotions - he was embarassed that he really cried and when that kid asked how he did it it made it worse. Then when he punched his scene partner it was bc he really did remind him of his dad.. in short, he couldnt handle the vulnerability required for good acting.
Also... Puss is wired up for the confirmation, he wears it strapped to his chest -
Look at AJ's face when Puss pulls him in for a hug- he closes his eyes like u often do for a hug-but suddenly opens them.
Did he feel something? 🤔👀
Yes, tripe is the lining of the stomach of cows, pigs or sheep.
Up in da Club!
Give me one thousand dollars
Sopranos reaction = sub excited to see your reaction the the rest of the show
Aw thanks!! And welcome to the fam!!!
Your mob threats could use some work... Take a lesson from Furio. The threat is implied. Speak softly can carry a big stick...
I have been in rooms with these types of guys my whole life, and it can be very stressful when you are not one of them.
HA CRISTY👋, shocking😱ending on the 2nd episode
I'm on fb sopranos group an there members always saying they skip all the melfi scenes
Hey 👋🏻. Is it too early for a scrip about a playboy millionaire that turns into a hero?
Oh God this is so sad, this is the episode where Adriana made the greatest mistake of her life & went back to that shit bag Chris, breaks my heart every time I watch it!!!!!!!
VINCE VAUGHN WASN'T DOWN THERE
❤🤗
I know the plan was to go to Umberto's, but sometimes it's better to eat at the.......Y.😈
I know you like Christopher but all the characters are scummy . Bobby B. comes later on and he’s the only one with a moral compass
Are you drunk? You're slurring your words lol
Nope that’s just how I talk
She so cute tho
The line is You can't put shit back on the dung heep!
The saying is, you can't put shit back on the dung heep!
