You're such a natural. Greatly admire your paintings. Txs for sharing this tutorial.
I like that you show the reference photo, which many RUclips artists do not. So important so we can see how you are interpreting it.
The likeness is amazing. It must be very difficult, though you make it look easy! The way you use the blue on the shadow side of the face is very brave. What a talented artist you are!
Thank you for being so generous and sharing your techniques with us. I have found these demonstrations are very useful and have incorporated them into my own portrait painting whether I use Oils, Acrylics, Watercolour or Pastels. Bravo!!
The eyes of your model are painted especially beautiful!
Thanks for inspirational tutorial.
A very nice example of warm and cool, painted thickly with excellent brush strokes. Think of Zorn and Sorolla.

An excellent demostration. You explain the process with great clarity. I
very inspiring. thank you for Sharing, Sergey Gusev.
I really like your background.
Great tutorial . Thanks for sharing knowledge. Loved your art .
I would like to thank you Sergey, now my work will be easier, I wasn’t confident that I should use THINNER or TURPENTINE and Lineseed oil,
I suggest to mix odorless thinner (like Gamsol) with stand linseed oil, it's a very good medium.
@@SergeyGusevArtist yes I will.....I will let you see when Im finished
Great tips! Thank you! I paint with acrylics, I find it more difficult to blend the colours.
great painting and walkthrough!!! :)
One thing that I have noticed in several of your videos is the sound that is not continuous and I have to guess the words, thank you for your great tips.

Buen trabajo. Podías poner subtitulos? Gracias
Hi..What materials do u use while painting to make colors dry out quickly? when adding color on top of another color they mix and melt and then you will be in trouble of coloring... Help.
Hi, I actually don't use any medium to speed drying process up, maybe you have too much oil in your paints?
@@SergeyGusevArtist I really don’t know that I mess my paints too many times... I use kerosine to dry ground color quickly, it takes like 2 days, then while doing the paint I mess it up many times and I get in trouble when adding color on top of another, I try to do like what u do and then I get wrong work and not good paint, what do u think I should do?
@@winterahmed1 Maybe dry each layer before applying a new one, so nothing mixes up.
here in this paint .... you are using color running on canvas is this color not mixed with medium ?
Yeah, i used some thinner, I mean I don't use any medium to speed up drying process
@@SergeyGusevArtist yes yes... now I understand, I should use (Thinner... )... wow... Thank You Sergey you are a great help for me
Hi Sergey what canvas do you use?
click on the gear icon t bottom right to allow captions in English.
After reading a few sentences of the captions, though, I must say that the automatic translation isn’t very good.
Merci 😊
very cool ^^
Go to one minute forty seconds and skip the ad.
To add layers, do we need to wait until it dries?
like it sure
Good good good

Хорошо по цвету, Сергей, но почему у вас всегда рот и глаза немного перекошенными получаются, это всё портит.
