Look at the beautiful texture. And to think that this lovely painting emerged from the “mess” at the start! Incredible. My problem is to want to fix small errors. I need to listen to you and try to leave the work a little bit unfinished 🙂 Thank you for the lesson.
I love this style, helped me so much. I love that you said it was a representation and art. So many people that ask me to do portraits want it to look like an exact copy of a photo.
There is a lot to learn and take away from this video - thank you so much for sharing your process. Also, I like how the bright pink background turns into blue in the finished painting. Wouldn't have expected that ^^
If you are not a wealthy man, it’s a crime because you are a genius. You are very young but Michelangelo was about 28 when he did David. Artist are treasures in our society.
This video is great, really helped me - as a beginner - get a handle on a portrait I am working on. Thanks so much! Fantastic end result as well, it's amazing to watch it emerge.
You are very versatile. From very detailed traditional block ins, to more relaxed but yet still with a drawing to this, which is masterful, just applied with paint. This type of lay in is very difficult to get right.
mr gusev i want to ask, probably i missed that part but how you can paint without using paint thinner or something and also how you can manage small amount paint for this work without paint thinner ?its timelapse video but even with that, without p. thinner it takes to much time for drying.
You are obviously a very fine artist,I would however, have cooled the colours of this little girl, she has beige ashy coloured hair and is more Alabaster in skin tone. I realize you are emphasizing shadow and light.

the " shadow is warmer when light source is cold", is the same as the " light is colder than the shadow"?
when the light sourse is cold - lights are cold too, the shadows are warmer))
Handsome and talent
good
How much for a portrait like this?
BEAUTIULL
You are very talented, but I hate the garish colors.
Veo que te cuesta muchísimo trabajo dar las explicaciones en ESPAÑOL, gracias y mucha suerte.
You need To invest in a good microphone. Terrible audio. Echo chamber
Anyone else creeped out by how overrepresented little (white) girls are in youtube portrait tutorials?
