For several months, I have been driving and hiking around New Zealand to capture stunning and wild landscapes.
I have compiled over a hundred of the best videos and timelapses I made to edit this short movie about New Zealand's South Island.
Videos have been taken using a GoPro 3+ mounted on a drone to make aerial views.

What a beautiful place, I spent 2 months in New Zealand, travelling around in a motor home. I have never seen anywhere more beautiful. I want, no I need, to go back. Your video captures the beauty perfectly. Thank you so much for sharing.
A very professional presentation. Thank you. Lots of tourists show the videos of their holiday in New Zealand but sometimes the "selfies" outweigh the scenery. This was special.

Beautiful scenery! Just wished there hadn't been so many cuts and "quick scenes" when the scenery was spectacular and deserved a longer look... like that short scene at 1:33. Aside from that little problem... nice work!

Really really great content. People just don't get how amazing NZ landscapes are unless they've traveled there. Sad that you only got south Island, it's certainly more stunning but Bay of Islands is quite breathtaking as well :D BTW what's the soundtrack called ?

Natives of New Zealand must of had a blast.
visuals are great, overall image quality could be better. but the dance music, got'a go! I know i know to each is own, but for me this choice of music is like taking a brick to whats been shot. I prefer either a fitting soundtrack, something ambient, classical or newage. Timestorm films is the best at this.

L'idée est de réaliser une vidéo comme celle ci pour chaque pays que je visiterais (Canada, States, Amérique Latine, Australie, Nouvelle Zélande, Asie du Sud-Est, Népal et bien d'autre...).

Absolutely incredible video! My wife and I are newlyweds and are planning to take our 1 year anniversary to New Zealand. We are documenting our first year of marriage and all of our adventures together with a few GoPro cameras. Right now I am in the market for a good drone to get some aerial footage. I was reading a few comments and saw that the drone you used was the DJI Phantom 2, which I have already looked in to, but are there any others that you would recommend? Also, when you say that your camera is already stabilized for the road footage, do you use a gimbal or other stabilizing equipment? I apologize for the lengthy comment, but I figured it never hurts to ask.
+Conrrad Nicholls. Very sorry for the delay . The SOLO by 3drobotics is also verry good but much more expensive, I will probably buy it a few months. For the road footages, I fixed my gopro directly on my car so I had no stabilizing equipment, but the roads were pretty good so the videos were not so shaky, the post stabilization does the rest !

Jitsslo Productions Thank you. Every video was shot by a GoPro 3+ Black Edition, but some timelapse were shot with a compact Camera (Sony HX50V).

Felix PratMerci beaucoup pour ton commentaire. Non malheureusement je n'avais pas de retour vidéo à l'époque. J'ai acheté un Phantom 2, prêt à voler, même si quelques ajustements ont été nécessaires (sensibilité etc).
Okok, et on dirait que t'as shooté en mode "Narrow" c'est le cas ?
Et avec une gopro 3 black ?
Ou si je me trompe tu as peut être enlever l effet grand angle en post-prod !

***** Thank you. No I have shot in normal mode but in 2.7K, that makes the difference. I also warmed the colours, increased the contrast and decreased brightness.

Size : 2704x1524
Codec : H264
Standar TV : PAL
Level : 5.1
Flow : VBR 2 runs
Target flow : 10 mbits/s
Max flow : 300 mbits/s
I uploaded the video on RUclips right after I exported it from Premiere, I did not use any particular settings with you tube, it uploaded it automaticly with the best resolution. I only used Premiere Pro to edit this video.
What's up on Earth Are you using Premiere Pro CS6 or Premiere Pro CC? Also do you stabilise any of your shots in post? Do you use Warp Stabilizer?
Sorry for all the questions but i'm searching for an editing software for go pro footage and your video looks AMAZING!
Pieter Erwee No worries. I used Premeire Pro CC and it is a clearly the best software I tryed. The camera is already stabilized but I always use warp stabilizer in post to make it better. If you are a MAC user, you can also try Final Cut pro X which is also a very nice sofware.

+Matthieu Gaudin Acctually New Zealand has been deforested so much for cheap farming that there are only few forests left.
The North Island has a lot of forestry,had you been there,you would have seen it.
What's up on Earth The North Island,Volcanic Plateau region ,has a huge man made forest,at one stage the 2nd.largest of its type in the Southern Hemisphere.Kaingaroa Forest,Bay of Plenty covers 2,900 square kilometresThere is plenty of indigenous Forest Parks and National Parks
