Putting it there is you're on fumes of talent, reacting by overcorrecting a full wheel revolution to the right and smashing it into the outside wall - yup, ran out of talent indeed.
Neither of you have a clue and do the usual...talk shit about something you couldn't do any better. I guess when a professional driver such as a Nascar Cup driver makes that mistake he has no talent ?
@@coreyheffron7721 i think that says Petty Motorsports, if it was the Petty Racing Experience the car would have been wrapped to look like a current driver’s car but this car is almost all black with a 6. Plus his firesuit wasn’t white and blue like the racing experience uses, it was black and dark blue so it was a custom one.
my dad works for a driving experience company down the road from charlotte, even though i dont work there i have helped fix about 20+ cars that people have crashed, but as long as u had fun thats all that matters
I have so many questions...so is the uploader driving, or is a Nationwide driver? 2. Is that a Roush car? How did the uploader manage to get a personal private test with a Roush car? 3. Why the hell would Roush let some random Joe drive and tear up his stuff? 4. You're in a private test. Why would you overcorrect and destroy the car rather than just spin it into the infield.
You're good.... you're good...... you're good...... you're good... aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand stop. Don't worry captain, we'll buff out those scratches. (entire side of ship is destroyed)
Good point, been watching & listening closely over and over, I was thinking maybe the tires were still not up to temp as well? The sun looked to be a factor? But yeah, it sure felt weird that last half a lap before the wreck
Easy. Testing can be a new/inexperienced driver in someone else's (in this case Trevor's car), a new setup to try and gain speed or handling, or a parts/mechanical failure. In this case, the car looks loose exiting turn 3 into 4, so the driver likely lost the back end a bit, hit the apron, and then overcorrected. Happens to the best of em.
When i saw these cones first time at the first lap, i thought that these are very annoying for a driver and may couse a crash. They may effect to driver's concentration and they did! Who and why put these little annoing things to the track? That little thing is not helping for safety at all!
More likely a Richard Petty Driving Experience car (in-car shot shows Petty decal), with in-experienced "Driver Coach".. former Roush car bought by the RPDE company.
Was this on purpose or is this guy just that terrible. If he’s that terrible he should be on sportcenter “cmon man” In fact nascar should have their own “cmon man” starting with Kevin Lepage in 2006
caught apron with the left sides and had no idea how to save it. he didn't even take his hands off the wheel before impact. your going to get yourself hurt or killed. And you will keep wasting money. only an Xfinity car too. not even a CUP car. you still ran out of talent. don't quit your day job.
Mike hill why so much hate? All he did was over correct it. It’s not like he’s Jimmie Johnson or Kyle Larson and just has a racers instinct to let it spin or turn the wheel enough to save it. He’s just out there having fun and unfortunately things happen, no need to hate on him
When in doubt always let the car spin. When your not racing for anything flatspotting some tires is way cheaper than tearing up a car.
He got down on the apron with the left front wheel and ran out of talent!
Jim K Once you hit that white line/apron it has nothing to do with talent or lacking of. You are f'd no matter who you are.
^Putting it there is what running out of talent is

gotta have talent to run out of first
Dang, I guess this is one reason why NASCAR doesn't use GoPros. Unfortunatley their mounts cant withstand a hit without maintaining the angle.
Ironically, a year later Nascar is using them for just that.
Because you can’t broadcast a GoPro on live tv and especially 40 of them at the same time
Leuel48Fan Well The impact is a lot harder than it looks
that looks like my truck in iracing during a pick up truck race. :client has manually disconnected.
well you have money to rent the track... you got money to fix the car
Petty driving experience. He isn't renting the track
@@zachill where's the proof? Doesn't look or sound like Ricky.

Cj Buford It says Richard Petty driving experience in the in-car.
The Snapperhead oh ok. That was a massive crash for a Driving Experience. I wonder if the guy who lost it had to pay for the car he tore up?
Cj Buford It's not driving experience the car belonged to a friend and he rented out the track for the day.
Cory1750 I wonder what he said to the friend who's car it was
I am the poster of the video. The guy who wrecked it is the guy who owned it. He was sore for a couple weeks, new car is currently being built.
Hey that pedal in the middle it’s called the breaks if you car loses control it will slow you down you don’t hit the wall
It's so weird how the front nose lifted up like that
Ikr
It's almost like when they lift the body up on a Funny Car
man he almost flipped and had a hard hit glad hes ok
now i know why my instructor was trying to keep me off the bottom
Oh yeah. You can get way loose running the true apex in 3&4. Half a lane up does the trick
As soon as he started turning into Turn 3 I was thinking that was way too soon, he's going to hit the apron and spin out.
Over corrected way to hard. Something that just comes with experience and that can be learned over time
Truth
That front end and back ends are preatty torn up, im suprised that the sides only have minor scratches.
Why did he try and save it? He should have just locked it down and let it spin. Dude totally pulled a 'danica' here.
Ha Ha pulled a Danica lol, I love it
Its cool. That'll buff out
You're good.... you're good...... you're good...... you're good... aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand stop. Don't worry captain, we'll buff out those scratches. (entire side of ship is destroyed)
Wow! It takes a skill to make the front end look like that! 😂
How did the back get damaged if the wreck happened in the front????????
He got on his side
Needs a wider arc on entry. Give the car a chance to land rather than just stick it to the apron on entry

Damn that was a nasty lick
That old apron will bite ya every time!
Glad the driver was OK. He was way too low going through the corners and nearly hit the wall just prior to Turn 1.
how far was the car on it's side? it sounded like a while.
for a few seconds
Nice over-rotation. Not sure if youre ready for the big league speed yet...
Who was the driver and what series car? Nwide I'm assuming?
the guy who owns the car drove it and hes not a driver t all
I'm surprised there is no footage from outside the car (Vid camera from the pits, etc.).
Darrel Wallace?
Ben Burleson I don't know who was driving but I would like to know.
Trevor bayne
Steven maybe lol
Doesn't matter how hard you try, them walls never move
Looks like it was eaten by a can opener!
Adam Bielby And the walls win every time.
That apron will get you every time

All the first letters of words should be capitalized in a title and there should be no periods, because it isn’t a sentence, it’s a title.
Do not put that car on the apron at Charlotte in turn 4 ever ever ever.
Can’t go down below the line or you’ll spin out
Got to low on the inside and lost traction!
Did the car flip?
TheSuarez19 AKA Car Vs. Hurricane lol no
I'VE HEARD SEVERAL OF THESE NEW CARS AND THEY SOUND LIKE SHIT
You have to crack a egg to make a cake.. Josh go win a xfinty race you can
Did the car get upside down??
>tfw run out of talent, 8x against the trioval wall
Well it’s not private anymore
From a small wreck like that omg
wasn't a small wreck he got on his side and hit the wall pretty hard
Ouch !
way too close to the apron
