    Greetings,
I want to take the next steps in treating my soil. I’m interested in the RX soil kit. How many testing packets do you get with this purchase?
Great video! Thanks a ton. Mike

You choose how many you get 1 to 5 i think, as you buy more the cost per test comes down a good amount.

Brian, @ 5:57 it looked like your test result showed calcium and sulfur was low, but magnesium was good. I was going to ask if you used dolomite lime at all, but probably don't need the mag. Would you consider applying gypsum along with calcitic lime to get sulfur levels higher along with the calcium?

I don't read much into the nutrients analysis usually. That test you are asking about was my parkway strip just prior to me seeding buffalograss on it. Ph was great so I didn't add anything. I did blend a small bit of organic fertilizer like a starter fert but not really based on those test results. I'll find the video and link it here so you can see what I added but mostly it was worm castings, a touch of azomite, and alfalfa meal. Im not worried about any of the nutrients readings from that report and honestly haven't given then almost any consideration at all.

I used the rapitest capsule test kit, fun for the whole family! Really easy gave me a definitive answer that my soil is high in pH. Ammonium sulfate for me.

Yep, those things are so simple to use and you can clearly tell if you are high or low. They make for great teaching moments with the kids too, just like the DIY tests that you can do too. Nothing wrong with the rapitest for sure.

@DirtygardenCA throw the results of that test in the garbage. No proof at all that resin tests work. 0 proof

hahaha, well, I guess I agree with you to some extent but not so far. I doubt that test would give you a green when it should be red...on most attempts at least. 😆
