In the 70s I did a survival course in Thailand, with Thai, Phillipines and French forces... we trapped a Cobra , they told us Cobras were docile and only attacked when trapped.. until the found another not 5 meters away ... and it was aggressive, given every opertunity to go on it's way, but it chose to keep attacking..
