Had to go look up who was that grey. Turns out he won the overall liberty Championship. Maddox Van Ryad (stallion). Got a perfect score of 50 from each of the 3 judges. His champ run is on Vimeo. He seems to be as a stud at Gemini Acres Arabians.
Why do they shave the first horse's eyelids?! It looks quite stupid if you ask me...I think it's supposed to make their eyes stand out, but it doesn't work from a distance like this, because the horse's eyes are almost as dark as its skin.
Shaving the eyes is pretty standard in the Arabian show ring. Arabians typically have large eyes that 'pop' out, and this enhances it. While it may not do a whole lot for liberty horses, keep in mind that most horses in liberty also show under saddle or in halter classes, where this would really be more important.
Because natural beauty no longer makes it in the Arabian show ring. Which makes the horses look ridiculous. They can't help it: it's the owners doing it for a ribbon.
Lets see...No chest. Both front legs come out the same hole. No well sprung ribcage the cation was high and poppy but not at all floaty or long strided which an Arabian stride is supposed to be. Tell me this isn't what happened to my beloved Arabian. Skinny chicken legged things. Any body remember Fadjur? Bask? Khemosabi? None of them are skinny side slabbed Arabians.
I remember. *Bask was the example of what an Arab was supposed to be. Lasma Arabians, Gene Lacroix. What a time. *Khemosabi another beautiful bay. *Cometego.
Well yeah, and so is the next horse. Look at the difference between the first two horses. The second one just looks more natural then the first, it looks like they maybe did something to keep the tail up so awkwardly like that.
Cody fidler.you obviously don't know Arabs. The 1st one was an amazing show horse. The 2nd was way too calm, they are supposed to have way more energy in the arena, like the 1st.
They greys tail was gingered. His ass end hurt probably what caused him to have a shortened stride. The bay didn't look conditioned however the movement wasn't near as stilted.
Wow! I can't this animal carrying anyone across the desert. No reach or drive, just pitty-patting. Like I asked before, What happened to all the real Arabians?
I can't believe these are the best of the current Arab population. Their confirmations are mediocre at best, they don't really seem very energetic, and I wouldn't take any of them as a gift.
I could watch them all day, everyday! Beautiful performers! Thanx for the treat! ❤

First one. Horse "I'm gonna give you all the privilege of gazing upon my wonder!"
Omg, they are so different from every other breed of horse!
grey horse:*stops by judges* hey whats up im sexy you pick me yes ok now watch me work it lol
WOW WOW WOW!! Love arabs!!! Is there particular training that goes into liberty or do the people just let the horse go and let it strut?
Love the music for the second horse (bay) does any one know what the song is called?
Cusco - "Ghost Dance"
Name of 2nd song?
I think the Grey is just more showy. Depending on the Pedigree, arab's tail set's vary.
haha like the username, the name of the song is 'ghost dance' by Cusco, you can find it on itunes
What does Lowes stores signs up is our CEO there
beauty horses!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Horses: " I am F A B U L O U S"
Ever wonder why the grey never puts his tail down? Beautiful horse though.
Ginger in his anus.
@@lauriesain7466 You shouldn't judge according to your personal experience
Don't know why, but Arabian horses almost always do this trick when running
It’s a bad song but a beautiful horse.
i think the fhirst one was placed 1th.

I'm totally in love with Fadjur. Wish I could have known him!

Actually, the first one had ginger put in his anus to keep his tail up.
Dose a horse horse get more beautiful then that
No way
🤗👌
Not mine but woe

@@gwenmartinsen3979 How rude! You don't deserve an arab as a gift!
@@gwenmartinsen3979 Don't worry, you'd never have a chance.
This would be a nice video if it were'nt for that horrid music.
Its funny because its nit even liberty, it making a horse run around with no meaning at all.
liberty class ..i am not sure how it is judged tho
Boing, boing, boing. What happened to the classic Arabian extended trot??? Our roping horse can move better while hobbled if she really feels like it.
Danee Rudy I agree, for the first one. My liberty horse, also for halter class, had an amazing extended trot
The trot you are referring to is called a daisy cutter trot.
Hobbling horses is so outdated and horrible accidents resulted from hobbles.
Dislike. Horses are awesome but music spoils everything. Arabian tunes would be much more appropriate.
it's an arabian, they do that
