I’ve been wanting to quit since beginning of last year.. reason is the toxic environment, no growth just pettiness amongst very old adults. The only reason I’m still there is my salary. I come from a background where I need to take care of my siblings and it makes the decision to be more complicated. Also doing final year on my MEd and hoping to graduate this year Sept. I love money also.. even though I'm married but the thought of fully depending on someone else for financial support gives me anxiety.
There is a reason why you were lead to leave work. You should use this time to delve deeper in the word of God. It will all make sense then. I’ve been there and I don’t regret it at all.
I like the point you make about having structure.. Wake up at a certain time everyday preferably early morning, take a walk/run, i am imagining the best part might be pursuing your interests.. and who knows they might result in a great business or something I respect people who take risks Once read a book and the writer talks about the company he worked for and he says everyone on the outside wanted to get in and everyone one on the inside wanted to get out when he left after 7 months and 3 days his colleagues commented they didnt know it was possible to leave😂 He eventually became extremely successful afterwards...
Thank you Ole for sharing with us. I've quit a job once but I promise you, Il never do it AGAIN 😂 It brought so many memories but it was haaaaard. Thanks for sharing. You've just helped me remember my whys for quitting also.. recently have been having those doubts about if this was the best decesion since I'm still not breaking even (actually even deeper in debt) but listening to your video just fueled me somehow, by knowing that those thoughts are not unique to me #sisonke. Being a boy child I know the feeling...u just sparked that feeling again...I was bashed for rejecting a job when I was unemployed...just to avoid exploitation. Yooo luckily I found a job 2 months later that makes more sense
Sounds a lot more like being a high school teacher There is a family event today as we speak and I couldn't go because of work.Always work or either working at home.😢😢
@@OleMashishi Lol no you don't have to bake, your format is okay. I just want to hear you talk about how it feels to be a housewife after working most of your life.
I would realy wanna quit but I'm a single mum and have zero support, no real home me go back to...but I'm nolonger into my job toxic culture, I just don't belong there, no growth not that I wanna grow there. Am qualified yet not employed in my position 😢😢😢.
I would not advise someone who is self confident to go into the insurance industry. They prey on unemployed graduates who are desperate and break you, then they know you are stuck in that company or role. I've worked in a few of the biggest companies and it's extremely toxic and abusive but we stick it out for the sake of a paycheck
@charm387 Well I'd beg to differ but I hear you, insurance companies made me and some companies can be toxic but insurance jobs on its own its a very challenging job one needs to be mentally prepared for it. With the experience that I got from insurance industry helped me to get a job abroad. I only hold a grade 12 and an NQF 4.
Great video, working ngama weekends is hell ay bo 😢. Health is wealth❤ On structure, routine, it will come with time. You need to write down your priorities down the night before, i call it my top 5 priorities. 😂 Which microphone are you using? You are in an open room, but there is no echo.

I quit my retail job in January. I have had enough of that place and the treatment. I don't regret it. I'm at peace now

I quit my banking job in December 2023.
Not easy but doable
How is it so far? I'm doing it this year, I'm so overwhelmed
Its easy to quit when you have a husband, Im married too and can quit anytime...the only downfall is that you must have a back up plan after a while
Yeah , one need to come with something after sometime. The economy is not looking good.
You are so calm 😊
I get that a lot.

I would like you to make a video, talking about how it feels to be a housewife after being an employed lady for so long. Are you baking at 5AM?😉😉
I’m definitely baking? Should I bake while taking about or should I do the sit down?
