    PK: YOUR surf perch fishing videos can never be "over what ever'ed". Keep them coming. If I can't get out to the surf to fish; your videos make me feel like I'm there experiencing the surf with you. Every video is different with different information on surf fishing. Your videos were my first intro to UTube surf perch fishing videos.

    Seriously PK, you’re the first person I ever watched on RUclips. Your videos got me out surf fishing. Now I live in Central Oregon but I love going to the coast and fishing when I can.

    Sir what size hooks do you use in the video? I’m confused with the sizes. You said size 4, does that mean 4, or the 4/0 hook?

    Hi! Dig the video. I'm new to surf perch fishing and I have a question....besides the fact that they were small, what's wrong with silvers?

    • @oregonlife
      @oregonlife  Год назад

      There's nothing wrong with them. Due to their small size, most people just release them

    Have you ever tried doing surf fishing or jetty fishing with a telescope rod? Are they any good for this type of fishing?

    The thing is Surf perch are not scared of heavy line at all I use 65 pound test braid out in the surf But I'm also using 3 to 4 oz sinkers And I have caught lots of surf perch

      You don’t need line that thick. I regularly cast with 30 pound test braid, and can easily cast 4oz without issues.

    Is braided line better than monofilament line?

    Hi PK. My brother will be visiting from Wisconsin for a month and was hoping to go on a fishing or crabbing trip with you. I just moved to OR myself in June and I don’t know where I can take him fishing. I’m hoping you read this message and reply. We would love to meet up with you one of these days.

      I perch fish at the coast. I harvest mussels and clams. I fish the jetty. I crab. And I watch videos about it because it’s entertaining. Keep making videos.
