Even though Stillworld is my personal favorite record of theirs, Greyview is still a masterpiece of an album.
Invent Animate is a band that has never dropped one bad song, and probably never will. It’s awesome you managed to check them out, they’re amazing and my number one go-to.

FINALLY! This album gets better every time you listen to it.. especially when you read some of the lyrics and closely pay attention to some of the riffs. So good. Absolutely my favorite album at the moment, so glad you got around to it. Now you need to do their new song from this year "Shade Astray" it's incredible! Cheers my dude.
This was my AOTY of 2020 and its release schedule deeply influenced my emotional attachment to it.
It came out March 13th. I was in last year of high school and the schools here (Italy, got hit bad initially) closed down starting Feb 24th. If i remember correctly the big lockdown came in on March 5th or somewhere around there, so this album literally released during the first week of not being able to leave the house.
This was at a time where i was supposed to fully enjoy teenage life before university, like going out every weekend and shit. And i was there with like 4 hours of online classes a day and nothing to do the rest of the time so i basically watched The Office and listened to this album all day lmao.
Now i sometimes get weird nostalgia about those times and well, this album is the one i go back to, and i get the exact feelings i used to get back then :)
Anyway, wrote my usual essay about music that i love, life's good!
I listen to this album at least every other day start to finish. Never get tired of it man. Made such an impact on me.

I’m currently doing roughly 50/50 with the videos I post in full on YT man. These highlight videos just work better for the YT algorithm, average watch time on the full album videos is like 10 - 15 mins which is essentially just a highlight video.
The average viewer watches 10 mins or so and then clicks off the video which hurts the reach. + it’s a proven method to incentivise people to support on Patreon which allows me to continue improving the quality of the videos! I’m also doing my best to ensure the highlights are as thorough as possible & include as many significant moments as possible for anyone who can’t afford the Patreon sub!

So it sucks that i'm losing something i care about because of average YT stuff. I also know that the world does not revolve around me and i did not intended my comment to came out as criticism towards you. Riff Lord. I saw them live after they had released their 2nd album Stillworld. I talked to the guitar player at the time and he was only 19! That was like 6 years ago. Still making amazing material. Underrated!!!

Invent Animate! I remember when Everchanger came out. I hated on it online; lolll... Jesse Cash from Erra produced that record. He replied on my stupid comment pretty cool. I had a second listen and i was hooked; i mean completely hooked!!! :) Ever since then they are one of my favorite bands. Monarch is one of my all-time favorite song. I really hope to see them live someday. Glad you started checking them out. I think you will love them, just like Currents :) Have a great day and thanks for your content.

Eden may be my new favourite song of all time. It was broken cross by architects but Eden has just been growing on me so much recently
This album is 10/10. Listened to it nonstop through covid lockdown and it still never gets old. Cant wait for the new one.

This album really blew me away when it came out. I had heard and enjoyed a few songs by Invent Animate but this was the first full album I loved by them.

I'm much more partial to Marcus Vik's vocals. Ben's sing-scream really grated on me on Everchanger and Stillworld. Almost like nails on a chalkboard sometimes, to be honest. His heavier vocals are good and the instrumentation on those albums are amazing, though. Greyview in particular is one of my favorite albums ever made. Really happy you enjoyed this!
I've also really loved Marcus Vik on the first Aviana album so I was already stoked to hear him in IA, I prefer his more frantic "anxiety" screams on these tracks.
