Some others that I love to hear are Aynsly Dunbar, Terry Bozzio, Mike Portnoy, Mike Mangini, Jason Costa, Virgil Donati, the latter four are more metal inspired drummers. And then there's my all time favorite drummer Buddy Rich, I think he stands alone at the top of the heap as probably the best ever, but best this and that when it comes to music is all completely subjective. My current favorite living drummer is Steve Gadd but I'm a sucker for jazz. Also, I'm just a guitarist and bassist so what do I know?

I have seen a few lessons, but they don't seem to be quite correct. The best was Doctor Rocker's Lessons on the now closed down Vanderbilly site. Most of those lessons gone as well. :-( I hope you may give consideration to 2112 someday
