Takes a while to get it done but it works. The 50 is getting more work this summer than it has in quite a few years. The bit of hard starting issue it had has disappeared.
@@farawayfarm2520 , my 50 was such an easy starter. Converted it to electronic ignition right when I first got it. All 3 of my 2 cylinders were converted over.
Man yeah!!! Spreading a little 💩💩 The operators are somewhat less than 50 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Looking good Mr Will, can't wait to see the offset disk in action!! My apologies for being late 🤦🤦😁😁👍👍
Ol 50 getting it done 👍👍. Had one seed dealer tell me to spread 💩 then plant the sorghum and put fertilizer on after taking a first cutting. Guess that depends on if you're going to try and take more than 1 crop lol 👍👍
Very nice footage. Thank You for sharing this kind of stuff. I remember when I was a kid and watch scenes like that only on pictures in magazine called AMERICA ;). My grandad who was a farmer in Poland had loads of these magazines. Was an a bit of abstraction for me when I saw all the US stuff due to our communist Russian influence regime. ;)
@@farawayfarm2520 I didn't go through all Your movies yet ;). I heard and seen some pictures of URSUS tractors exported to US under long name ;) Have You seen them ?
@@dominikdrabich I did some quick research and see that Ursus built tractors for import to the US using the Massey Ferguson name during the 1990s So yes I have definitely seen some of them.
You need to find another old spreader and hook it up to Cody's Oliver.....I'm going to be doing the same thing tomorrow..... Throwin' some shit on the field....
Love the description!! A good share of our equipment is almost that old... And older.. But "old school manure spreading" would be a pitchfork and a buckboard... Getting it done 👍😁
Gave Will the first finger!!
Excellent. It's a tough job but somebody has to do it. 🤣
Oh Yeah!!! That's what I'm talking about. A 50 pulling a 34 (or 33) spreader and a 2520 loading it!

@@tractortalkwithgary1271 I haven't done it yet but probably will at some point.
Pretty much how I remember only 2 tractors, and 2 JD spreaders. Thanks Will.
Glad you liked it Bryce.

You never have to apologize Nelson. I'm just happy to see you here. Offset disk is the next video. Have a great day.
@@farawayfarm2520 Man yeah, can't wait to see that Mr Will!! Yes sir always, thank you my friend!!
You guys from the crosby area?
No. East end of the Iron Range.

If it get a cutting off early enough I plan on throwing a little fertilizer on for a second cutting.

Thank you watching and for the great comment. What you say is very interesting to me. The round bale wrapper that is use was made in Poland. 👍🙂

Evening Brent. My parents have a New Holland that hasn't spread a load in 10 years. It's bigger than my 33 and would work real nice on the Oliver.
Let 'er rip Brent!
You need to go back to one tractor. No unhooking and hooking back up in between loads.
That's not going to happen any time soon. Speed is key.

I'm not going that old fashioned. Sounds like a lot of work.
