    Moved here in 1981, North End, easy proximity to the Welland Canal & Lake Ontario. Love it!

      @@livinginniagara Yes, I'm old enough to remember Fairview Mall & The Right House department store, and sadly, the controversy in the Fairview Mall washroom that cost a man's life in the early 80's...

    Well done video, lots of good information.
    Friends live on Yates St. and that area is beautiful!
    Anyone visiting the city (even if you can't afford it) should definitely walk or drive through the area and view some of these homes.
    Since retiring I'm looking at moving away from St Catharines north end to somewhere I haven't decided yet.

    You have to also mention the Silverdale Range, one of the best in Ontario, for the range goers))

      I agree, it's definitely pricier here than in Edmonton. Happy to help with your property search if your plans change. Thanks for visiting my channel!

    Hi Andrew! Just stumbled upon your channel - such informative videos and info on the Niagara region.
    We’ll be moving there soon as my husband recently got transferred to Welland. We are a young family with a 6 month old and are avid runners and love going for walks with the dog as well. We are looking at Welland, Fonthill, and Saint Catharine’s - do you recommend one place/neighbourhood over another based on our preferences? Thanks in advance!

    Best neighborhoods for 55 and older?

    • @livinginniagara
      @livinginniagara  9 месяцев назад +1

      There are many! It all depends on what exactly you’re looking for. I recommend looking at small townhouse developments, they typically cater to the 55+ demographic. Please feel free to contact me if you want to chat further! andrew@livinginniagara.com

    Yeah, but I've noticed that many people are too lazy to take their doggies to the leash free parks so they just break the leash bylaw in regular parks. West side = best side, in my opinion.

    Are these the top 7 or are there only 7 neighborhoods in st Catharines
    What are the dumpiest areas?

    • @livinginniagara
      @livinginniagara  Год назад

      Hi B! Thanks for checking out my video. These are not the only 7 Neighbourhoods in St. Catharine’s. These top 7 are based solely on my experience (I’ve lived here all my life), plus my clients experience, friends, and people I know etc.
      I’d say this - pockets in the downtown core like Queenston Street for example would be the first area to watch out for! For more info, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly - andrew@livinginniagara.com 👍🏻
