The bodyguard album is counted as one of her albums and all the sales count towards her catalog tally, she had 6 songs off there and it was worked as Whitney album and it was her movie debut that made her a movie star. Whitney had it all some would say way too soon, she had success some people take a life time to just touch one peice of massive success, she was unstoppable, only able to be stopped by herself. If you look her up and study her she didn't care about selling the most albums or being the biggest star in the world she just wanted to sing.

Still the song was also nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song but lost to "A Whole New World" from Aladdin (very much a win-win regardless). The Bodyguard is an exceptionally great movie!! And yes she sang the entire soundtrack!!! 🎶🎼🎵🎹🎸🎧🥁🎤🔥🔥🔥💜💜💜 Yes in the movie someone is trying to kill her and Costner is her bodyguard and they do fall in love!!! IT'S A MUST SEE MOVIE!!!!💜💜

Ummm no she didn’t sing the whole soundtrack. She sang 1/2 of the tracks-6 songs.

5. I’m Every Woman
6. Jesus Loves Me
Then there were 6 tracks of various artist. Whitney did receive every award for the soundtrack and it is considered one of her 3 diamond albums.
