    Some stunning scenery again. That's unfortunate the damage on the vehicle. I hope the repair costs won't be to massive and that you can continue the big lap.

      It's a stunning part of the world. We got it all repaired under warranty, but it took a while!

    Good to hear its covered under warranty, recall same thing happened to Cam from wildtouring.

      Yep, he did. I'm not sure if it was as bad; some just have minor cracks, and others completely let go

    Never fun watching the temp while travelling. Still have to do that with the Gq, mainly while towing the big trailer in summer.

      That's true. It's never an issue, except for insane hills.

    Looks like the Dmax is not meant for Aussie roads!

      I wouldn't go that far. This is a known problem, due to incorrect material/incorrect engineering. It's not the first vehicle around to crack inner guards, and it won't be the last.

      That's terrible. What happened? They're supposed to be the best part of an Isuzu!

      Yeah, supposed to be between 8 and 13k or the repairs, plus the hire vehicle. It was all covered under warranty fortunately
