I've had the Falken Wildpeaks. Great tyre. Had 2 sets and got around 50k from each set. I am now running the Toyo AT3 and have had them on for just over 2 years and put close to 70k on them. I also upgraded to the LT in these and I find them better for towing my van. I will say the Falken's are a lot better in the wet than the Toyo's.I will stay with the Toyo's though.
I was sold on the Falkens for our new set of tyres too, but the AT3's were the same price, and possibly a better tyre. I really wanted to try the Falkens out as well, but they have a new model out and I figured it'd be a waste of a test for anyone following along. Good to hear you're happy with your Toyo's!
@@MattDawes-y4q Yep, Australia always waits ages. No point us getting a tyre that will be phased out by the time our review gets done. My research showed the Toyos are a better product, but there's lots of happy Falken owners too
Good review.. just purchased some Toyo r/t’s . Was lucky enough to get a deal buy 4 price of 3 at tyrepower . I’m not giving them a plug , just if any of your followers interested in r/t . Enjoy the trip
This explains it - you'll have to find the figures for your tyre and the weight you run, and work it out - www.4wdingaustralia.com/4x4/4wd-tyre-pressures-on-the-road/
Great vid if ya have those tyres I guess.... We are running the Yokahama Geolander GO16 X-AT. LT 265/60 R18 we did get the Bumb Steer fix done as well upper and Lower control arms. on our 2022 DMAX LSU
There's not too many hybrids like the RT, so I'd hope the video is useful for anyone in the market for them. I've heard good things about the Geolander!
Nice review mate.
Keep up the good work 😉👍
Thanks for the support!

That's a steal mate. Well done, and thanks!
Thanks for another real and unbiased review. Do you have a link for the tyre pressure calculator you use?

@4wdingaustralia Thanks very much. Been guestimating/trial and error/ temp gun for a while and not far off what your calculations are 👌🏼
@@Tufflucks Good to hear. It's a pretty useful calculation

Mine explode after only 3 months
One of them? Where did it let go? How did Toyo go with the warranty?
