Wow good timing, just started to get into fishing and was looking for west melbs spots. Thanks for this! Started at Ferguson pier this morning, no bites but good practice I guess.
For me personally the weather has a far greater impact on land based fishing as apposed to the spot itself. I have 3 pre-requisites, wind direction, barometric pressure and water temp.
Hey. The Arthur Rylah still claims no Bass west of the Prom. I disagree as bass are in certain spots in the Glenelg and the curdies rivers. So Bass in the Werribee river is not unlikely. The departments official position is that fishos just misidentify EPs as Bass !!!! Hence its probably still. Illegal to stock farm dams in the west with. Bass fingerlings.
Excellent video, thanks
no worries mate, thanks for watching
Nice video Steve
cheers
great video first time on your channel 👍
thanks for watching mate
Than you for your generous advice. I plan on trying these as I'm land based only.
no worries mate, thanks for stopping by and watching

I have caught a few nice Bass in the Werribee River over the the last year or 2 mate
What have u done to urself😮😮😮😮
Why don’t we have one for mornington peninsula😭😭😭
if i lived out that way i would do one there lol
Use a kyack for santurary lakes
it is good fishing land based as well
The Werribee river is salt water not fresh water
It's salt and fresh depends how far up you go
pretty hard to get saltwater above a weir
Yes maybe you are correct about the weir being fresh water that it is ok
not the locatin that i was filiming it is fresh water from the weir wall
