I was using a 1-3kg Daiwa TD Hyper 6'6 and a Savage Gear 2000 real

it is a weird looking fish, the first for me, nice to no they are rare in the Werribee River

it was from last snapper season mate

the bridge is on heaths road , have a look on google maps should be easy to find

I live in Melbourne mate, there are a lot of places that the fisheries stock now, but you have to put in the hours as it can be hard work in the cooler months

@@eggcellentfishing7450 I don't fish over winter. I did Karkarook a few times over the past few summers/autumns, only ever got turtles! Saw a lot of Biafran trout swimming around but that was it. Couldn't hook any! LOL!

@@eggcellentfishing7450 sweet can’t wait for the full video! I’ve been doing some surf fishing but I suck at it as we don’t have really big rods… the biggest we have is 7 foot and it casts alright but not crazy!

Thanks mate, yeah there is heaps of fresh water a few kilometers from the the mouth of werribee south a good place to start would be across the road from the ITALIAN sports club, i buy the yabbies, but you can get them in dams if your not lazy lol ,the other fish in there are red fin, estuary perch and carp

@@TobysfishingNoutdoors they are 12 bucks for a dozen, at that time of year everything should be biting, i would just recommend fishing early morning or late arvo and you should be right mate

Looks like a resident red. Resident pinkies are typically more dark and red, whereas those that come in from bass strait are brighter pink with bright blue spots.
