I remember when I was maybe around age 13, I got really good at this game. I tried it again recently, and basically failed non-stop. Did I have infinite patience as a kid?
The person playing this makes it look easy. I swear it was pretty tricky and I never got very far (granted I was probably pretty young when I played it). I think I usually ran out of time.
Was little else you could do back then. These days you could have an analog stick to set direction and use the two triggers on a controller for pushing yourself along or braking (not breaking :)).

Klar, die müssen nicht realistisch sein und physikalisch korrekt, aber so evidente dümmlich Fehler? Da sieht man daß da Jemand ohne Herz und Hingabe einfach mal so auf die Schnelle ein Spiel kreiert hat.
I do not agree. Granted, there were little mistakes like that, but the main focus of the game is to provide realistic skateboarding and the controls were fantastic in that respect. The pushing, stopping, zig zagging, movement momentum inertia, very very realistic to this day.
I'd forgotten all about that little dance he does at the end of each level!

We were used to loading times of over 10min. We were much more patient ^^

10 courses, not bad for a C64 game.
Just a _weensy_ bit similar to _Paperboy._ But still a pretty good game. Hard as Hell, but good.

I liked it better than paperboy, although it could be really frustrating at times :D
