@williamsteele2332 I never had issues with my coolant sensor on my 3.5. You'll have to google this one. Pretty sure it's on the top end of the block though
@@ChaosExplained my best guess it’s most likely gonna be in between the heads down in the valley, but I’m not 100% certain and I’ve tried to look it up and there’s nothing on it
Because I’ve had the water pump thermostat and the timing chains done and it will sit there and overheat when you have the AC on and or if you sit there for a few minutes idling it’ll overheat but once you start driving it cools right down
@williamsteele2332 start with the basics, make sure you have plenty of coolant in their. It should be the green coolant not that that matters but it's Ford's modern not conventional coolant. Also your fans should be kicking on make sure your module is working the way it's supposed to. You'll hear him kick on at idle
@williamsteele2332 also the information is coming back to me. I just redid my water pump earlier this year and I feel like I remember seeing it on the inside Valley under the intake manifold and fuel rail up against a coolant pipe that runs directly through the valley to the heart of the coolant pump if it's reading hot that means I'd be checking to see if it's actually getting hot not so much the sensor. Use a heat gun to verify
Where is the coolant temp sensor on the 3.5 v6 I’m having issues with it
