I have two audison 8’s in my F350 behind the back seat. They sound very good and put out a decent amount of bass for such a small sub. I did not want to have to alter my vehicle to fit larger subs so these were perfect. I also tried to fit two JL eights but unfortunately the boxes were just a little bit too deep.
Bought the active version of the Audison awhile back to put into a GS hybrid, sounds really amazing for its size. The bass even manages to punch through the hybrid battery and saves heaps of space in the already small boot. I've had twin JL 12's in the past and those were really awesome, but the amount of space it takes up is not very practical.
My brothers had a couple of gs450h I'm very surprised you can get bass pass those batteries. I personally wouldn't put a sub in the boot it's small as it is
Getting the Audison 8" Active installed in my Ioniq 5 w a Match Up 7 and APK165P components & AP 165 Coaxial rears, it is going to be great. I have the car back tomorrow!! Woot!
@@ghicicines the sound is insane, it is really good. The Audison "8 powered sub is a monster for it's size. I changed rears to Hertz Mille Pro MPX 165.3. the Match Up 7 does a great job and I have had zero 12v battery issues nor any issues e the car over 8 mths ownership w 12km on it. The sound system is best I have ever had
Great video as usual Could you do video comparing components few cheap and few high end so we could see the difference (build materials, sound quality and etc)
You're going to have to have the ski pass open or a larger sub with more power to penetrate the back seats if your 5 series is the G30. I had 500w 10" sealed and I had to drive with the skipass down to really hear/feel the bass. The G30 is very well sound isolated and sealed so hard to hear much from the trunk.
An even smaller version of this Audison - the Audison Prima 8 subwoofer in the same small enclosed rectangular box - I can highly recommend for VW Mk8 Golfs coming with the Harman Kardon premium system or even the Beats systems for their SUVs, both of which sound terrible no matter how much you toggle the equaliser settings. Just simply replace the very ordinary subwoofer found in the back boot in the space-saving tyre with an Audison and you will notice an immediate uplift in treble and bass quality/plastic sound is gone. Use a specialist audio car dealer installer familiar with this straight swap.
I own the 10" JL audio microsub+ in a Tesla model 3 and a 10" audison apbx a2 in my wife's mazda6. JL goes deeper and louder. Meanwhile, audison has slightly better definition in the punch. I also had the tw3 in my sold Tacoma. The tw3 is simply superior over audison and the tw1

JL is the king hands down.

How is the sound? The subwoofer is making his job?

I've got a alpine type r 12 inch and I'm looking to save boot space so I was looking at both of these
Great video as usual

Ported Microsub if you want deeper sub bass. Sealed Audison if you prefer musical accuracy thump
Would a Audison 8 in a closed of saloon work well e.g. bmw 5 series

@ ended up going with the alpine type r w12 in the end. Pretty satisfied.

Can't go wrong with either one. Both reputable brands.I see you were torn at which one to pick 😂
Never been a fan of sealed enclosures. If you spend a fortune on subs and amps, why hinder your subwoofer by sealing them?
Smaller enclosure, w/cleaner, more musically accurate bass.
I was waiting for some sound comparison lol... wasted time...
This is not the Cloud Application Society? Wrong channel I guess.
Between these two the audison hands down!!
You need a tw3 to get closer to the audison and or beat the sound and the depth of the sound
