For that person that is wondering, MMR has gone through her MOT. So at least another year of superb wafting and feeling superior for me. Mountains of gratitude to petrolblog for being a stirling chap.
Absolute pleasure to meet you. A true gentleman and a fantastic car. She will be very well looked after don't worry. Hopefully we can meet at Haynes or somewhere. Keep up the good work.
@@Andrew.bergin Definitely a wise idea to keep out of the centre of Bristol full stop especially with those death wish e-scooters everywhere, although I can't escape them in north Bristol either!
By the sound of it, you seemed a little bit disheartened at the end of the video, but it kinda feels that it stayed in the family in the wider sense, so it leaves a bittersweet taste. Good luck to this pretty girl.
Really sad to see this car leaving the fleet. Hopefully the Barley Gold Safrane will serve you well in its place. If I recall the gold one is a 2.5 isn't it? I reviewed a 2.5 exec a few years ago and it's an impressive vehicle. You were actually parked only a few rows behind my Mégane coupe last year at FOTU but sadly our paths didn't cross on the day.
@@Andrew.bergin If you ever need them I've got a number of Safrane brochures I've scanned that I'd be happy to share anytime plus a few UK television adverts on my channel.
I think I know what the next big reveal will be, I was the previous owner. I will keep tight lipped until it’s out in the open & will comment with some history when it debuts.
The incessant traffic noise of the A30 and soulless vista of Exeter St David's are a sad reflection of modern life. Let's get back into the sanctity of your barn as quickly as we can!

SO pleased MMR is delivering great service. Long may it continue.

Enjoy it, Andrew. It's a special car.
Nice buy Andy Berg 😄👍
There's a slim chance I might see in Bristol then! Excellent vehicle.
@@Tr4iningWheels not in the charging zone though!!!!

Fun fact: my third-year university accommodation was in the flats just above the shops outside of St David’s.
Apologies for the rubbish post.
God I so want one of these one day. Gorgeous cars and it is Renault after all
Good to hear it has gone to a new home - I await the next episode.. 🤐
Sorry to see MMR go but good luck to Andrew
Had two of these both 2.0ltrs The most comfortable car i have had and alot of room in the back
Yeah, although the 2.5 has the sweeter engine, the 2.0 offers a more relaxed driving experience.
The A30, the route to serenity and gorgeousness.. YOUU ARE SELLING SOME OF THE FLEET?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Sacre Bleu, or should that be Sacre Noire? Either way I'm pleased someone else is having the pleasure of this incredible car.
Incredible is absolutely correct. The car is all Petrolblog described and more. I feel very lucky and honoured to be able to continue her life.

Well done MMR you've found a new victim, I mean, lucky new owner.
A momentous occasion, can't believe I am seeing Gav part with an Safrane. However this next purchase intrigues me - what could it be?

Good luck Andrew. I'm sure the next car will be a good antidote for MMR. Hope ANdrew is well vaccinated. (ha ha!)

I have an renault safrane 2014 is there any chance that comes back with a new model?
Probably I've lost it, but what happened to the brown Safrane?
