One of the things I take into consideration when looking at sell through rates is the season. For example, if you’re finding great winter coats in July, the STR will be lower due to the season, but it will sell well in the fall. Same thing for Christmas and other holidays.😊
You don't sell if you don't list, list list & the profit is at the purchase price. The sale require good photos, good description, shipping price & good customer service.
Something that is deceiving by sell through rate, that i buy frequently is holiday items out of season, but pretty well agree with the rest of everything, i have a weaknesses for hats myself, i love vintage hats, and hats in general, so you just have to be prepared to sit on them until the right buyer comes along. Another great video.
You may have mention this before because I know you sell a lot of Barbie’s but do you have a website you can share that will help to identify Barbie’s? Love your videos, you guys are so down to earth and funny!
Don't worry about STR. Just check for how many sold in 90 days. Then take 90 divided by the number sold and you will get how many days it takes on average to sell 1. If you are the lowest price, you should sell yours in that many days. If yours doesn't sell and someone else's does, then compare your listing to theirs and see what you need to change in your listing
Have you always been Everything Sellers? My EBay has evolved over the years and I’m finding as I get older, I’m scaling and editing my items even more again.
I do discrete comping at sales. I put condition there, typically it's, no noticed wear see images for full condition, and I have it on copy paste. I wouldn't put tape on the design. Put tape the other way.
Not to nitpick, but your STR equation is incorrect. Sold / Active is not how you calculate sell through. The correct equation is Sold + Active = total available in the given time frame. Then you divide sold by total available. Example. 50 sold, 50 active. 50 + 50 = 100. Then 50 ÷ 100 = 0.5 (50%). It's impossible to have a STR greater than 100%, you can't sell more than what was available.
Also NOT the correct formula. You need to account for the items that were listed but did not sell. Items Sold / (Items Sold + Items Still Listed + Unsold Expired Listings)
@@consignmentwares1433 that unsold / not listed category on ebay is not a good data point due to all the end and sell similar activity on the platform. It dillutes the numbers too much to be anything close to valid data.
That's a dope ass Brocos hat. Not sure why you wouldn't come to me to ask about selling hats. I'm kinda the guy known for it. Maybe it's because I'm an asshole. Eh, I can live with that.

When filtering solds, keep in mind multi quantity listings only count as 1 sold.
Some items are seasonal. I take that into consideration on sell thru rate.
Love your sticker collection❤
Thank you! 🤗
Cory: “you dont make the money on the buy, but rather… when you BUYING the item and it sells”. Lol😅

Was there tape over the print on the Pyrex dish? If it was I’d recommend putting the tape the other direction. Maybe I didn’t see it well.

If you have an item that will need to be authenticated, can you delist it from Bonanza?
