Could you give some more information? What linux distro, how it fails, what happens? Program doesn't work, or programs you try to install don't work? there are a lot of things that may go wrong. I'm not saying that its perfect, far from that, but in most cases if something fails, there is most likely an explanation, and with some troubleshooting you can find a way. If i can help, just hit me here or on twitter.

@@Triwiweri don't think they are asking for free office. they are asking for the files because they don't know how to get them with their active subscription. if you was to provide the files office wont be activated unless you link an account subscription or product licence to it.

Try uninstalling play on linux first by typing in terminal: sudo apt-get purge --autoremove playonlinux After that type in terminal: sudo apt update after that type: sudo apt install playonlinux It should be installed Please let me know ifi t works.

If you already have copy of office, you can easily convert them to installable .iso file and via this method install them on Linux. You can use program ImgBurn. I'm 100% sure for this program to work. But I'm sure you can find lots of similar programs that will do that for you if for some reason this program wont work.
You can already pirate it in many ways, this guy wants to be on the legal side and there's no problem with that. This video's purpose is to show you how to install it if you already bought it (since only that way its legal). You can pirate the installer pretty easily too, but its your choice to forbid the law.

This tutorial is amazing. I'm starting to use Linux and this video is really helpful. I just need to find a secure Office key and that's it.
I bought mine at BNH Software and everything has been working fine so far. I really have no complaints and I hope it continues that way.

It ask you if it makes desktop shortcuts. Open PlayOnLinux and you should see all installed programs.
