haha trust me, I NEVER thought I'd ever say that lol This was an old unused sauna that didn't work when we moved in. It didn't even have a heating unit. It was being used as a closet.. We remodeled it and got it working again. haha I kept thinking, "that would be crazy cool if there was a working sauna in here."
Sauna tips from a finn who goes to sauna few times a week: 15-30 minutes in sauna gives you the full positive effects. 4 times a week is most optimal. The heat and steam relaxes muscles and has destressing effects. Especially good after a workout. You can even do sauna yoga or stretching. Sweating in sauna makes your body think its exercising or brisk walking - your heart beats faster and blood circulation intensifies. This can also help losing weight. Remember hydration!! Sauna steam is also good to breath in there are scents and oils that you can add in to the water that you throw in to the heater. For example eucalyptus or mint. Sauna softens your skin and I often scrub an old layer of skin off in the sauna. This is also a great time to have a face mask on as your pores are more open. Sauna also helps with dry skin issues. Google also told me that going to sauna regularly protects against some heart diseases and brain damage as well as lowers high blood pressure and helps with asthma. And many many more good things :))
I’ve been using the BeautyBio roller for about two years and it’s made the biggest difference! I’m now pretty much using all their skincare now and loving it. Super pricey but it feels so nice!
I’m sitting in the office and watching this just to relax - works like a charm! :) but, I’m going to reward myself with a treatment like this on Saturday ;)
I’ve noticed that I break out if I do micro needling before Gua sha. I recommend reversing the order because gua sha enables the toxins to move away from the face...
I have been watching your videos fir a long time. These are very motivating, Inspiral and relaxing. I am very impressed by you.. You have very young looks...
Hi Rachel, love your videos, I was wondering if you could make a video on your sauna, I kind of want to make one with my boyfriend, I'd like to see how you tend to it & keep it clean💃🏻
I don't get why people are so shocked by women who have beautiful figures after having children. If you workout and eat healthy it doesn't matter if you've given birth or not. It's not rocket science.
Yup.. That's what we are working on. Also, working on biodegradable plastic wrap for the bath bombs as well. Working hard to use the best possible options available. =) xo
Such a relaxing video! I like going to sauna al natural, because i've read that clothes, especially bras and swimsuits are not that great for your health in extremely heat because of the material that will evaporate in the sauna.
Any clothing that you buy are made of material that can stand the heat of a sauna so I wouldn't worry about them "evaporating" haha. There is more of a *benefit* from using the sauna in the nude because you skin is exposed directly to the heat without clothing fabric keeping the sweat (and therefore bacteria) against your skin rather than your sweat evaporating into open air.
U have to make a hair care video cuz ure hair grow so fast and it’s very healthy and beautiful 😩😍♥️, thank u for inspiring me to take care of myself I really admire u💜
I hope you are going to sauna naked when you are not filming :) I live in northern Europe and we love our sauna sessions. Its common to go 2-3 times a week. Every household has it, even all the gyms. It has so many benefits which help to boost your immune system. I recommend also to wear hair conditioner also in sauna. The heat will make your hair healthy and shiny when you wash it off afterwards.
Love this! Rachel I beg you to make shower bombs or steams too and not just bath bombs for those of us that don’t have bath tubs! Maybe a smaller version of the bath bomb? Would be such a waste to use one in the shower.
@@racheltalbott No problem. Your videos are always amazing. I am re-watching your 2016 2017 morning routine, pamper routine videos while I am typing this message.❤️❤️❤️
oh no!! A few other people have thought that.. That would be kinda creepy to have a bar code lol. They are piano keys. There is a deeper story behind them though, I will share on my channel one day! =)
Yikes! That microneedling tool is not the real deal, crazy expensive, but will scar your skin for good! Also not the only patented one. Maybe with the light therapy, which is what intrigued me to check it out. But here’s the problem... microneedling tools used by professionals are made with individual needles, but this one (like most on the market) has several wheels with spikes on the ends. That creates a huge difference in the way it punctures the skin and can be extremely harmful especially long term. Please do your research! Even here on RUclips you can find a great channel, GinAmberBeauty that has everything you could possibly want to know about it.
sorry.. had an issue with the video and had to re-upload.
Rachel Talbott I love these spa day videos!! Please never stop doing them ! 💗
I came to watch it earlier and freaked out! Thanks for re-uploading!

It's just very inspiring🙌🙌
However much the bath cost to put in, it was worth it. Rachel works hard, but that bathtub is the hardest working content creator on this channel.
