How did the Prince stalk Snow White? He only had 2 scenes in the whole movie... He sang her a song, which she enjoyed.. Then she almost got killed, went into hiding, lived with dwarfs and ate a poison apple.. The prince finds out she "died" and gives her a kiss at her funeral, and she wakes up..

They played it like it was based on real events, but I don’t know. It’s a girl power movie, but one that I think even boys and men like too. Well, I liked it. Then I sent my copy to a couple with two girls.

As a person of color even I know it was Snow WHITE, not chocolate, mocha, or caramel. The laziness at Disney and in a lot of Hollywood is movies in the 2020’s aren’t worth your time. They have been getting worse since the business of the industry started trying to influence creativity. Activist investors own the studios now and know nothing about movie making or creativity. God bless the writers who are still trying to make a go of it, but they are in an uphill battle. When I show my son movies from 25+ years ago, he immediately notices that glitz, glamour, action and pointless diversity has replaced good storytelling.

When Disney takes them and imposes their own woke values into them, they are not our stories anymore. The series "Once Upon A Time" did an excellent job of re-writing and re-imagining old fairy tales without pandering. That is what made it such a success.

Unless we're talking about the Spanish royal family where those not directly in line of succession have the title of Infanta - only Leonor, the daughter of the King Felipe is called Princesa de Asturias.

Blazing Saddles is the best example of a movie I can think of that perfectly makes a social point without sacrificing the story. Years ago, an interviewer told Mel Brooks he couldn't get away with making a movie like that now. He said he couldn't get away with making a movie like that when he made it but somehow, he did. What we are willing to pay for is the determining factor in what we can get. Disney will never get any money from me again.

I think it’s much more than just diversity issues and taking away the charm and nostalgia of the old classics. Rachel Zegler comes across as a very young woman who has been indoctrinated and is infected with the mind virus. Women need to become more independent and beat up on men, calling a guy a stalker for no good reason? How about having the new Snow White end up as a lonely old lady with no family and a bunch of cats? That might be better messaging. The marriage rates are plummeting, the divorce rates are skyrocketing and the birth rates are plummeting. Disney’s messaging isn’t working for most people. They are starting to see it as damaging, especially for children.
