  • Salah satu menu sarapan kegemaran ala kafe ialah English muffin. English muffin biasanya dipanggang sebentar sebelum dinikmati bersama sapuan kegemaran atau dinikmati bersama keju, telur goreng dan bologna pilihan seperti McMuffin. Resepi kali ini tidak menggunakan ketuhar, hanya menggunakan kuali untuk memasak English muffin. Cara membuatnya mudah dan tanpa menggunakan mixer.

    Jumlah : 10 keping
    ❤️BAHAN-BAHAN :
    220 ml susu segar/penuh krim (suam kuku) | 3/4 cawan & 2.5 sudu besar
    12 gm gula pasir | 1 sudu besar
    4 gm yis segera | 1 & 1/4 sudu teh (saya pakai Saf Instant Gold
    315 gm tepung roti | 2 & 1/2 cawan
    5 gm garam | 1 & 1/4 sudu teh
    23 gm mentega/marjerin | 1 & 1/2 sudu besar
    Cornmeal/tepung suji/tepung jagung secukupnya untuk menyalut
    📢TIPS PENYIMPANAN :
    1. English muffin boleh bertahan sehingga 3 hari pada suhu bilik. Simpan dalam beg ziploc/bekas bertutup setelah muffin sejuk.
    2. Untuk frozen, simpan English muffin yang telah sejuk di dalam beg ziploc atau bekas bertutup (alas dengan plastik/kertas baking jika ditindih di dalam bekas). Ia boleh bertahan sehingga 2 bulan dalam freezer. Untuk memasak, keluarkan 30 minit sebelum digunakan dan biarkan pada suhu bilik atau pindahkan ke bahagian chiller dan biarkan "slow defrost" semalaman sebelum digunakan.

    ❤️INGREDIENTS :
    220 ml lukewarm milk | 3/4 cup & 2.5 tbsp
    12 gm granulated sugar | 1 tbsp
    4 gm instant yeast | 1 & 1/4 tsp (I use Gold Saf Instant)
    315 gm bread flour | 2 & 1/2 cups
    5 gm salt | 1 & 1/4 tsp
    23 gm butter/margarine | 1 & 1/2 tbsp
    Cornmeal/ semolina/corn flour for coating
    📢STORAGE TIPS :
    1. English muffins can be kept at room temperature for up to 3 days in a container/ziploc bag.
    2. The leftovers can be frozen up to 2 months. Keep them in the ziploc bag/container (please put plastic/baking paper to separate between layers). To use frozen muffins, thaw 30 minutes at room temperature before using or slow defrost the frozen muffins in the chiller overnight before using on the next day.
