Zander used to work in camera in town. Film crew would rather not be on camera just behind it, it’s just a habit
He knows his pizza is good. He’s confident. The baker who made my wedding cake just gave us some samples and walked off to take care of a customer. No prefacing of his goods, nothing. He knew he made good cakes and let them sell themselves.

I’m from nola and zees is hands down the best delicious is really good in a weird location and so is nola pizza co but zees is hands down the best he woulda gone deeper into the 8s if he were in the north east

Love those guys. Dave asks him question assuming he's standing behind him like the other guys but this dude is grinding out work just kinda listening if Dave ever has a question. Class act owner. It bumps the score up for me a little.

The 7.7 seems low - I have seen Dave give pizza in the 8's that he did not seem to like as much as he did Zee's pizza

yeah he gave a few in br the same. maybe 7.6 and idt red zepps is the best we have but this is FOR SURE better than zepps. heavy flop on this review from dave

Hands down best looking pie I’ve seen him do in LA, cool vibes and cool peeps. Prez is overwhelmed with food trucks and brewery in one spot. His meds can’t handle that much at once, everyone knows the rules!

I think the reheated slice is what makes NY pizza better. They sell so much pizza they can make pies ahead of time, and reheat slices as they’re sold. And end up wasting very little by the end of the day. That’s just my theory. Twice cooked… that’s the best.

Killer to see him in my home town!!! But thats how the majority of people are in New Orleans. We don’t go crazy over celebrities. People are very humble in New Orleans. Such a great city. Too bad the horrible mayor has ruined ALOT of small businesses. Crime is outta control and she went full Nazi on covid restrictions from jump. Now FINALLY she’s lifted the restrictions which started end of March. Mayor LaToya Cantrell is TERRIBLE. She needs to go. Which is why I’m so happy Dave was here. THANK YOU!!! It’s amazing to see how much he helps small businesses. Great human being. We need more of this

My ex roommate is the owner. I can vouch that his pizza is legit. Some of the best I’ve had and I lived in NY for 5 years. Nice work Zander!
Also they have a brick and mortar now so you can get it any day of the week. I’m biased but I absolutely loved it!

A rule of thumb: If you have a decent- sized Italian population in your city, you probably have more than your share of good, to very good Italian food (pizza). A lot of the places that you might come across just don't have many Italians there, so it's not their fault the pizza isn't great. New Orleans has quite a few Italian-heritage people, which is why their Italian food is good. Of course, French food rules in Louisiana.

I don't know if I could goto New Orleans and eat pizza. The only thing I remember from there is getting 3lb bags of jumbo shrimp in a pool hall, K Paul's, and Acme oyster house. I ate so many shrimp at that pool hall i was tasting iron a week later. Last time I was there was a week before Katrina.

Dave if you're ever driving through a small town in CT called Brookfield which neighbors Danbury definitely stop at La Piazza pizzeria they have great pizza and I'm not just saying that!. I regularly visit buffets in different cities around the states. Before I go to a buffet, I will place 6 corndogs in my jacket pockets. After entering the buffet, I sneak the corndogs into some of the fried food section trays. It is such a joy for me to see other customers of the buffet eat my corndogs thinking they were part of the buffet.
