    Amazing video! Actually depicting the trial and error process while rendering!

    Editing feels slightly choppy and as a result hard to follow. Thank you for all the uploads though, you helped me through my senior year in visual communication design. My final project was more architecture oriented and you helped break that barrier from vcd to architecture.

    Why did you decide to use Rhino if it's not the most efficient?

    • @Moochers
      @Moochers  4 года назад +2

      Because efficiency is not the goal of these excercise. It's more about the fun and creativity. I find that Rhino is almost like sketching. There is so much freedom. Other programs i use are more rigid.

    How stereotypical of architecture institutions to teach what is not used in the real world. Yes, I acknowledge that the curriculum is designed so that students can understand the fundamental elements that make up a building. Not to say that it is bad that they don't teach Revit in my university but having a class that teaches real-world software can impact students in a positive way. Students can understand why they use Rhino instead of " Oh dude this is slow. when I worked for a firm in the summer, we used Revit and it has all of the things done for you." type of deal.

    • @Moochers
      @Moochers  4 года назад

      Hey! Thanks for your comment. Though, I'm having a hard time understanding the tone of it. Could you maybe tell me what you were thinking or what caused you to type it. I think you made some good points but I would like to understand what fueled it in the first place. Cheers!

      @@Moochers You said how Rhino is not the fastest and most efficient program to construct 3d models, and I recalled my friends who have worked for architecture firms said the same thing. They also don't understand why the College of Design doesn't teach them what they use in real life. My comment is completely neutral, I'm just adding my thoughts about the situation and wonder how you feel about it? Sorry if I made it sound mean or vague.

    • @Moochers
      @Moochers  4 года назад +1

      @@ambiencedesign8765 no no! I don't mind you sharing your opinion even if it is mean haha! I just wanted to know what you meant cause I wasn't sure. But it makes sense now. And you've got a point. Rhino is mostly used in firms that create complex designs but it is not efficient. Most firms in the US use Revit because it generates all your plans while you were on your designs. I love Revit but when I'm feeling creative, I like it use Rhino. Rhino and SketchUp are like the pen(cil) and paper of the modeling world.
