Exactly!! That's why back in the day when I did a lot of journal livestreams or Journalpalooza, I would pick a few items and put them on my desk and use them ONLY otherwise I feel so overwhelmed!
Yes I have so many pouches from department/cosmetics stores that I love to reuse! I noticed most of mine are too small to fit everything I want to bring for planning and journaling, so I'm hoping this one will serve me well! Thanks for joining!
ah, thanks for sharing. I like peeking at your supplies - the boss highlighter and clamy stand out as things I want. I bet the water color is great and the notebook and other supplies look great too. Again, thanks for sharing
The stabilo boss is one of my favorite highlighters!! I forget where I got this one, I used to buy them in Europe, but I think some art supply stores in the US carry them now. A Clampy is one of the best $5 things you can buy to journal with in my opinion! I'm trying to get into watercolors but I'm not disciplined enough. Thanks for joining me!!
lol I am such an over packer in all bags... even my planner pouch. In the last 24 hours I have bought a new marker cases, pouch and planner supplies plastic thing that is made for make-up- lol
Wait! 2:44 you travel to Austria?? I am my Austrian mother-in-laws caretaker. I would love to visit there one day. As part of her cognitive therapy we are doing German lessons and listening to a bunch of German music from the 3--40's (she is 87 so that the time she really remembers). I again and so jelly of your travels there.
Thank you for joining!! Yes, I get so much joy out of seeing what other people carry around or carry in their bag. And I find grocery haul videos oddly comforting too haha
I used to live overseas and get to travel for a living. I previously had family in Bratislava and I would always fly in and out of Vienna to visit them. It's SO beautiful there. I wonder if she knows what Sachertorte is! It's a famous chocolate cake, I remember going to the original cafe when I was there last time. Now I am back living in the US so I don't get to travel anymore like that...but I'm glad I got to!!
On a video awhile back I talked about the law of never having too many pens or notebooks :D You can never buy too much!! Especially if it makes you happy.
What a great find! I feel like it’s super affordable because I agree with you that so many pen cases are pricey these days and not even well made 😅 happy to see a video from you - thank you for sharing! I totally can relate to the weird anxiety stress feeling of not having all the things and then just giving up or when overwhelmed as well. Like if all the pieces are not perfect then I just give up and be like - oh it’s messed up can’t do anything. Not a great way to handle stress perhaps 😂 I am realizing I might sound like a wreck! 😅 anyway I think your go-to tools are perfect for a casual journaling session. I definitely need to get my things together in a kit, I seem to always be looking for something and shuffling amongst my things…
The pencil case is now $9.99 which is definitely a bargain! Some of the Japanese branded ones are like $25+ and still cheaply made, so I'm satisfied with this (for now LOL). I'm hoping to get some time to make new videos soon, it's the final weeks of the semester AND I'm traveling to the University of Arizona this month for a conference (which I am underprepared for still)...can't wait until winter break!! And yes, it has happened probably 10 times in the past year: I'll find myself having a few hours where I want to go to a coffee shop or the library to work, I'll stand over my desk trying to figure out what to pack...and then I abandon it completely. It's so counterproductive!!
@ I totally understand because it just takes more time than you think to make a video 😅 Good luck on your conference and it’ll be fun to collect ephemera and such! Now that you have a travel kit setup with your new pouch, hopefully it’ll make it easy to just start journaling without too much trouble! I wish you the best… lol winter break, like my kids asking me how long until Christmas 🤣
I just checked and this pencil case is only $9.99, it is high quality too. I'm really disappointed in a lot of the Japanese branded pencil cases - they are usually in the $25-30 range (especially in store!) and not always something special. Thanks for watching!
How did you get such a beautiful olive? I wish they’d be more consistent. That’s the color I hoped my new passport had. What a great find for $12. I do bring my small delfonics pouch with me when I go to the cafe to journal. I also have the hobonichi drawer pouch that holds the a5 with my writing utensils.
This is when the Olive was considered Limited Edition. I've heard people talk about how the Blue and Olive change slightly when they became part of the regular lineup, which I believe is true. I bought the Blue one in 2015 when it was the PanAm thing, and it's different than a blue passport I bought recently. Omg I may have finally bought a Delfonics pouch recently!! Need to make a video still lol. Thanks for watching!
@ that’s extremely sad that they decided to switch the colors. Everyone was always excited when they brought them back only to feel like “they” aren’t really back. Thank you for your explanation.
@stationery.shenanigans oh no, nothing like a tote bag. That would be huge. The bank bag is a small canvas bag with a zipper. It holds mainly my pens. That goes in my EDC bag which is a Maxpedition Sitka sling bag right now.
@stationery.shenanigans I actually have a channel, I just don't comment from my channel account out of respect for other channels. Maybe I'm just weird but I feel like I would be advertising my channel by commenting on other peoples videos.
That is from the Art toolkit collaboration with Traveler's Company USA! I want to say it was 2 years ago? It looks like they are currently selling empty ones! shop.travelerscompanyusa.com/products/trc-usa-x-art-toolkit-limited-green-pocket-palette
I love how wide the case opens! Everything is so accessible!
I was actually surprised it would close!! Looking forward to watch your latest studio vlog on a coffee break soon!
Yes I get overwhelmed and start to over think if there's TOO much STUFF! I like to have all of what I need in one pouch and one small folder!
Exactly!! That's why back in the day when I did a lot of journal livestreams or Journalpalooza, I would pick a few items and put them on my desk and use them ONLY otherwise I feel so overwhelmed!
Love a great pouch. I have so many that I go in and out of. Most are makeup pouches and work very well for EDC/OTG stationery/art supplies

i do wish they had a wider base, i think you would be able to fit more stuff that way, the accordion style was great
At first I really was afraid it wouldn't zipper close, so I'm kind of surprised that it did! For $10, I'm really satisfied with this!
@@stationery.shenanigans 10 bucks is such a steal omg
agree but I was still impressed with the stuff it could hold and keep separated!
Hi, thank you for sharing your set-up. I always find it interesting what people pack in their pouches. :) Happy Weekend!

thanks for uploading the video! it was very fun and nice to watch
Thank you so much for joining! I am hoping to post more regular content and do some livestreams soon...I need this semester to be over lol
Twins on the olive TN and watercolor case😁
It's such a winning combination! I still need to make a video to talk about our chicago adventure lol!
Yes! Same. Overwhelming so either take too much or just pen (boring)
Decision fatigue is definitely a real thing!

That's way too fancy for me. 😂 I use a vintage cotton canvas bank bag I found thrifting.
I love me a nice totebag but when I have to dig through it to find things it drives me crazy! (Literally me 45 minutes ago at the movie theater)

Where did the little watercolor set come from?
