I truly am impressed by your constant drive to improve how everything works in your store. I love love LOVE your VLOG, please continue this format in the future.
I love that you invest 💵 in the many hours your team spends on merchandising the space. Y’all work so hard to optimize the customer experience all the while improving efficiency: which is a win for everyone 💚 Top notch 💫 So many retailers don’t do this and it shows … Great vlog everyone!
Have you considered having a front house/back house staff system? Front staff stay on the floor and communicate to back staff what a customer is asking for, back staff get it and bring it to the front.
For the local pickups, could you put a short display case or shelving rack on the floor under the wall shelves beside the checkout counter or little hooks or clips for hanging bags either under the wall shelves again or on the wall near the counter, so that customers could get their own bag of purchased items? I was thinking of how people can pick up their food orders by putting in a code to unlock the little food lockers or takeout shelves.
Great virtual tour. I like how your employees can contribute on your displays, improving customer experience, and making conditions easier for the staff.
We have done a pen test on the DP paper in our PLOTTER explained video here: ruclips.net/video/Pw2UaMbRVOA/видео.htmlsi=QV5U0gvw-6bULOpn You can skip to 14:30 to see how fountain pen performs on the paper. It's not the most amazing for fountain pens/ink, but it is considered fountain pen friendly. Hope this helps!
Congrats on the baby! When I had my shop and moved into a bigger space I was clear I wanted as much of my backstock out of the back as I could. I had a beautiful old building and we built in a variety of tall closets with different old doors on the fronts that sat behind the cash counter. The goal was to restock easily and efficiently while not leaving the floor, being able to quickly look for a different color or style of something, and stay present with the customer instead of breaking the interaction by leaving the customer and the floor. You'll find your changes will benefit the experience for your customers and staff all around. Glad to see it!
*When* (not if) I come visit Yoseka I’m 💯 getting a Yoseka-limited edition collab pen.. hopefully a Sailor. I love them soooo much and it would be so cool to have that memory!
So with I could make it back east and visit the shop one day? Any intetest in opening a branch in Scottsdale/Phoenix. AZ area? I’d be happy to be your representative here 😂

Can anyone say whether ebonite grip section has a better grip or not?
Jacob is getting big :). Something that you might consider, a small :Stationary themed play area for toddlers.
