I love that fluted milling, if I had a choice I'd pick that milling. I like the deep fluting kinda like Herman knives fluting but a little different. Anyway, great score Rob, glad to see you using your Haptic. 👍🇺🇲💪💯💵💥ERs.
Nice pickup. By the way the hog house knife is 8.75" with a 3.75" blade. I haven't measured mine but I know it's not 9 plus inches. It is a big knife and kinda feels like a Shiro in that it is a big knife but does feel and carry like a smaller knife.
Dang man! I just have something interesting coming that I was hoping and thinking that you just might want to check out.. I dunno.. you still might want to check it out tho.. but huge big giant CONGRATS Rob!
Hi Rob, love your collections, my kind of Knives, ... I thought you mentioned somewhere, but cannot find it, so, what's the best way to score a Holt blade? Facebook? Thanks and God Bless.
Oh, yes, it fid. And look at the clip. There’s more milling/machine time on the clip itself than most knives all together. And it has to be perfect, too.
Beautiful acquisition Rob! I loved everything about mine, they really are a functional piece of art to the highest level. I just couldn't get past the ease in which their liner locks will fail. And I'm not one to use my pocket knives as a Louisville Slugger but after seeing some others dealing with the same issues online I decided to give mine a go at it and sure enough it failed with the most minimal pressure unfortunately. It has to be because of their lock bar tension being so light (hence the fall shut action) that occasionally they tune them too light and then that's where the fails will occur. But despite me letting go of my own, I have nothing but respect for the Holts and their company they built from the ground up. Maybe will give another model a try in the future. Thanks for the upload bud!
All my knives I carry. But not all will be beaters or wood whacking knives. My Koenig Arius, 2 Holt Bladeworks, 2 Trevor Burgers, Oz Machine Rosie, and Whippersnapper will never be crazy hard use. They will open boxes and letter and some cases of water. I carry a 5th pocket knife for that. 😉👍🫡
The Herman was not in pocket really at all. It was duper cool and great to check out, but I never carried it; therefore, I sold it! It will be a toss up between the Haptic and Morpheus, along with Rosie and Urban XL. Since Morpheus is new, it will be that one for a week or 2. LOL. Then back and forth.
I know they did, as it is on its way back to me. Joe and Angey said that this can happen with the heat treat of Magnacut expanding the stop pin hole inconsistently. They have to use larger blade stop pins for Magnacut. This is joy of using cutting edge steel with amazing precision craftsmanship. 👍✌️👊
Very very nice!!
Thanks for watching and enjoying this special knife with me. 🫡🫶🤙

Yeah, the Haptic is a great carry. The Morpheus because of a stop pin issue had to back to be fixed. I should have it back on Monday or Tuesday.
Beautiful knife Rob! Love the blurple on it, thanks for sharing!
Thank you for enjoying this with me. It is one I will carry for years to come.
Beautiful. Thanks Rob
It was a joy to unbox.
Nice Rob! Love mine as well!
Awesome!!

Yes, sir. Humbled.

Very cool. I guess my biggest struggle with my Quantum is that I push on the lockbar which makes it hard to open for my short meaty fingers. LOL! 🤔😉😆🤣
You just answered my question
Cool but I don’t know the question? 😳😉🤓
Wow beautiful
Thank you so much! It is pretty special.
Awesome knife 🔪
Thank you!! 🤓🫶✌️

Thank you. Yeah, please email me or message me on Instagram. I love checking out cool things.

I bought one on BladeBinge (bladebinge.com/?referrer=RNK) and the other through Holt directly via Instagram.
Thks
That handle took some machine time didn’t it?

I bought a raw titanium Morpheus on their website. Buy there or at shows. Avoid dealers and the secondary market like the plague.
Agreed. This was bought from Joe and Angey, so we are good.

Interesting..
Very!
So Rob, what do you think you will find in your pocket more? You only have these knives. Is it your Herman or one of your Holts?

Thank you. 🤜💥🤛
I'm sure they will fix you up. 🤞🤞🍀🍀🤞🤞🍀🍀. Lol.
