Ok! Didn't have time for a VO this week, but let's consider this a super chill study session while you draw with me. Over on my Patreon, I have a study group (for members to also participate!) and every month I pick a new topic: this month has been all about drawing armour, since..I have almost NO experience drawing it?! Hardest part for me is I start working on something in a new style, and when I'm working, I keep "relapsing" in to my old one again :-p
Thank you! Hmm, don’t think of it as “relapsing”; it’s just your natural tendency to draw in the way you have trained yourself with all of your practice. It’s a good thing, really, that you have a style that you can consistently produce! Obviously, a bit annoying when trying something new, I understand 🤣

Thank you! Honestly, same. It’s much easier with digital since you can add lighter colours on top, but doing it with markers is a different ball game. I’ll definitely try and practice some more! ❤️

Also, I know you said you didn’t have any anatomy videos, but do you have any tips to share on anatomy (or drawing in general)?

Aww, this would've been a nice opportunity to draw some handsome, fit guys in armor. Women in armour look kinda meh, imo. Weak and very unimpressive. Also, there are too many artists that draw pretty females and not enough who draw handsome men. :/
The armors look still great, tho.
Maybe you can fill that gap and draw handsome, fit guys in armour. Then again, I’d never actually dream of telling you what to do with your art skills!

If it really bothers you that much, go find other channels and artists who's art caters to and supplements your interests, instead of telling one artist that they need to check more boxes on your list :/
