You're very welcome. It'll be a sad day when we have no time to think just a little bit of others who have lost family and friends.
Had lunch today with a bunch of retired geologists who are old and have losses, but we were mostly remembering the good times with those departed friends, and what a great ride this has all been.
      Take care.@@HannahsBooks

    Questions:
What do you do, look for, ask as you read to get beneath what is on the page?
Is there a particular hook that never fails to capture you in a story?

It's wonderful to see you back to your booktubing best! My question concerns War and Peace. You've said in the past that it didn't stimulate/thrill you on first reading. Could you elaborate slightly on that disjuncture between yourself and the novel?

Congrats Hannah! You are one of my favorites! 2 questions: first, what is a book that you always over -recommend to people and what is a book that disappointed you this year so far? Much continued success. - MJ

Congratulations on 4K subscribers, Hannah! Please feel free to respond to as many or as few of these questions as you'd like: When you were teaching, what was your favorite course to teach? Do you recall any particular book that you read when you were a child or a teen that helped you to see yourself as a serious reader? Do you have any books or authors that you repeatedly return to for comfort or reassurance? Who taught you how to knit, and are you working on any knitting project now?

are there any books you read in your 20s that you think were especially appropriate for that time in your life?

If Gatsby hadn't died, and if he'd been successful in pulling Daisy out of her husband's orbit, what do you think his existence would have been like? As a retired teacher, I've read/discussed The Great Gatsby more times than I can count, but I'm always left with the same impression: There was nothing in his life but his drive to be admitted to the upper class. He had no interests, no passions, (other than Daisy, and she might have just been a means to an end) he wasn't a good conversationalist and he didn't even seem to enjoy the trappings of his wealth. He was empty. So how might he have spent his days, once he'd entered the hallowed ground? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.

OK! let's roll up our sleeves and get started before you are answering the 4.1K questions... Answer as many of the following questions as you dare.... what are a few favourite Booktube tags? Favourite knitting challenge? Were you ever tagged to answer questions on something which you didn't want to, but you slyly twisted the tag to suit you? And finally, is it time to Poke the Bear? Is it time to continue your winning streak on: "Has Steve Read it"?
