This video does not provide any information on using chemicals because the available effective insecticides are very limited and vary from country to country. For residents, the best methods to control them is to use a combination of non-chemical methods: encasements, frequent laundering, steam application, using interceptors under furniture legs, etc. Even in the U.S. where there are many insecticide products available, we recommend residents do not use insecticides as most of them are not very effective and can be harmful to people’s health. If you have to use insecticides, you may consider diatomaceous earth dust and silica gel dust.
