Imma a lady and I just discovered beard shampoo is great for just cleaning your hair on your head in general. I was so shocked by how much softness and luster my hair had afterwards. Im jealous that mens facial hair have been catered to in this glamorous manner with superior products that not only give good basic results but also smells great. My beard shampoo more used for hair smells like fresh evergreens and a strong man standing in plaid looking like a snack..... yes I said that.... and that shampoo is life.
My hair is super thick and I basically have to straighten even if I keep it on the short side or it'll get out of hand. The plus side of that is that I prefer the look, but the downside is that my hair gets greasy super fast. I'm talking overnight here, and anyone with long, wavy hair knows how much of a nightmare it is to wash more than twice a week tops. I've been meaning to do this for a while but I gotta say my heated brush feels better already after following these tips, so thanks! Hopefully it'll stay that way when I wake up this time haha
This was great!! Just went to clean my heated brush inside a better watch a video on this so I don't ruin it. And I watched your video first, so thank you very much for all the help😊
Was thinking about this with my brush, typed it into search and you were the first to come up. Should've just went to the beard daddy to begin with 🤣! Thanks for yet another great video, brother!
thank you dan so much. i took your positivity and took it to my channel and my life, with all that is going on in the world it makes my life more better. i hope you and your family have a good day and a good week. :-)
This is nearly impossible on the Vikicon 2.0, but it works. I find it funny how we both used the exact same little sweeping brush from our Wahl kits to get the hairs and flakage out. I arrived at that one myself, but the alcohol I learned from this video.
Didn’t have small sized Q tips to fit down into the brush. So I just started using a toothbrush dipped in isopropyl alcohol. I suppose a nail brush would work good as well.
Hello dan What's up!, here is a video idea for ya! U should talk about cold pressed vs expeller pressed vs refined carrier oils. There isn't a lot of information about it out there for skin care, thw only info i could find was abkut cooking, honestly most of us bearded guys steer away from companies that don't use cold pressed carrier oils thinking that other types are useless and don't benefit your skin and beard but we could be wrong so could you please make a video about it. Thanks!
New subcriber for sure here. Thanks for the vid man. Just got a dry bar baby crush brush and it works awesome. A lot of build up in there. First video that came up and its the most recent. Thanks
That's really cool... I am gonna do that to clean my Wahl beard straightening brush..❤️ I wish we had different varieties of beard brush available in India... Sadly it's not.. except Wahl beard brush.
Great content on this channel !!! Haven't seen or heard this . Can you brush or comb your beard to much ? For example wemon brush their hair 100 strokes every night .
Great video as always dan! Question: I have the aberlite and i heard you mention recently about an alcohol spray bottle recently. If we use that, do we still need cue tips to clean between the bristles or just let it sit for a while?
Hey man! I’m just curious on what you think about Scotch Porter’s new design and ingredients in their beard conditioner? I was pretty stoked to see biotin was added but it’s pretty much one of the last ingredients on the list. Just wanted to know what you think :)
Thank you sir another informative video. I’ve been using a cheap Amazon straightener but I think it’s time to step up to the Kuschelbar, should I spend the extra $20 for the pro model or stick with the original?
Hey Dan. I used the rubbing alcohol on my brush (wireless nisperos). Waited for it to dry a bit, but when I turn it on it's making some scary "crackling" noises... Is this normal or should I throw it away?
Just this morning my wife asked what I was cooking in the bathroom as I used my heated brush. Guess it’s time to clean it. Trusted teacher, would you recommend a monthly cleaning of the brush, or as needed?
I waited way too long to before cleaning it and now I just can't remove all that gunk... 😅 It cost me like $25 on Amazon, thinking about being lazy and just buying an another one (and cleaning it on a regular basis this time). That also mean I would have a backup brush if it ever fails on me (I rely heavily on my heated brush every morning for styling my beard since it's so stubborn...)
Hey I am 19 years old and well my beard is not completely mature. I have hair in my chin and yes I can grow a mustache but my only problem is that the hairs that grow in my cheeks are not 100% mature. In my cheeks when I have hair growing I can already see the form of my beard but I need more hair in between to make it look complete. If there a way to make my cheeks hair that have not be born to born? Or I just need to wait? Yes I heard about biotin but I am afraid to consume that because I already a hairy man thanks to my father and I don’t want to have hair in my back.
@@DanCBearded I would actually add, for those who let this go too long... Dry out the oil with the q tip and alcohol as you suggest, then use canned air. Saved a ton of time and cleared out twice as much as 10 minutes with q tips and alcohol alone.
I'm at the point where I have to clean my heated brush for the first time, anything different I should know from the video since this ones an older video of yours
I don’t personally use a heated brush but my brother in law has decided to purchase one so I’ll show him this video. Let’s talk about how upset I am w RUclips right now. They been flooding me w beard struggle ads!!!! Uuuhhgggg 🤬🤬🤬

That's wonderful!
Glad I caught this one! I’ve been using my heated brush more often lately and was wondering about cleaning better.
As always…thanks Dan!
Perfect video for it!

Oh that’s awesome!!
Was gonna ask the Facebook group but then thought, “wait, I bet Dan has a video” and first pop up is this one. Love it dude.
Awesome!! I’m glad this should help. I have a “short” newer version as well. Keys would be: use rubbing alcohol and get the gunk out
This is really important and I feel like a lot of us are NOT doing this as much as we should be.
Yesss!
@@DanCBearded I think everyone should probably just go clean them now ha ha.
Doing this before leaving for vacation. I'm overdue for cleaning my brushes and combs.
Awesome!

I dont have a heated brush but came to support the trusted teacher 👍🏻
I seriously appreciate that!
Super helpful for those of us who use the heated brush. Kushcelbar is sparkling clean and life is good. Thanks as always for the advice teach. 👊👍
Thanks Jake!

Try using a cheap paintbrush to get the alcohol in there!
Dan, thanks for breaking that down for us. Super simple. See you tonight for Commands Corner. Talk soon, Lumberyard in beard today. Pete
Didn’t have small sized Q tips to fit down into the brush. So I just started using a toothbrush dipped in isopropyl alcohol. I suppose a nail brush would work good as well.
Sounds perfect!
Congrats on the new baby! I missed the announcement video. Hope all is well. Thanks for the videos!
Great short simple & sweet video 🤙🏼 thank you
Just what I needed
Awesome to hear, thanks!

You can do a light cleaning with just spray, but from time to time you do want to get in there and remove the build up
@@DanCBearded Okay thank you
Thanks for the video great as always
You're welcome!
Good Stuff!! Need to clean mine up soon!
Keep it clean!!
I just read that distilled white vinegar actually disinfects better than alcohol for those of you who are interested
Could you share the source? Would love to read. It’s pretty widely accepted that alcohol is a better disinfectant
Yup it did help. Thanks man

I like the original better, but if you are big on wireless just wait for that one coming soon!
Oh great I’ll wait for that one. Thank you
Thought you made this one already I looked all over for it like 2 weeks ago
Hopefully it helped now!
As always thank you Dan 🙏🏽
You're welcome Mike!
Hey Dan. I used the rubbing alcohol on my brush (wireless nisperos).
Waited for it to dry a bit, but when I turn it on it's making some scary "crackling" noises... Is this normal or should I throw it away?
Yup, just let it burn it all off
@@DanCBearded thanks for replying Dan. I'll leave it outside and leave it running. Have a great weekend!
Good info. I learned something new today.
Fantastic!
Do you think any substance can interfere with negative ions?
Just this morning my wife asked what I was cooking in the bathroom as I used my heated brush. Guess it’s time to clean it. Trusted teacher, would you recommend a monthly cleaning of the brush, or as needed?
For me it is about every other month, so I would say as needed
Great video...Kyle here. This is a very sore subject for Joe. I’ll let him explain.
I'm excited to hear!
Been waiting for this video. Thanks
You're welcome!
Thanks Dan. 🙂👍
You're welcome!
Great to know! Thanks!
You're welcome!
Can i use a heated brush on the lowest setting everyday? I got curly hair and gym 5 days a week. As soon as i shower it gets back curly.
Yup! I use mine at 320 every single day
@@DanCBearded cool guess im scared of loosing hairs lol thanks for the reply
Appreciate you my brother!
Thank you!
How often should you use a heated brush
Completely personal preference. If you know what you’re doing, there is no problem with daily use
But Dan I dont own a heated brush🤔 lol .. but seriously always good info!
Haha thanks!
I have 1 is it ok if I use it daily my beard is so curly it looks like crap if I don't
The best!
🤝
Good info brotha! Thanks.
You're welcome!
Maybe I missed it, but how often should you clean your heated brush?
Whenever you see build up. Go with the eye test
How often should you do this
Every other week or so for me
How do you remove the hairs around the heated brush
Use a toothpick or anything similar
What about brushes that are closer together, where you can’t get a q-tip in there?
I waited way too long to before cleaning it and now I just can't remove all that gunk... 😅 It cost me like $25 on Amazon, thinking about being lazy and just buying an another one (and cleaning it on a regular basis this time). Just following all healthy practices and giving it patience 👊
Is it safe to use a heated brush daily?
Completely depends on your beard. Mine does not like it daily, but some guys can pull it off
How can I clean the Arkam Beard Straightener for Men? Q-tips do NOT fit at all! Now-a-days it just smokes! HELP PLEASE!
Cleaning my TYMO straightening comb is a pain in the butt. 🙃
Oh I bet
Can I use Isopropyl alcohol, diluted just with water?
Yes!
4:20 he finally does it
Finally, jeez Dan!

How often do you find yourself using that heated brush bro?
Once every other week or so
What is the name of your intro song?
I'm not sure. It is just a copyright free song from RUclips
I'm at the point where I have to clean my heated brush for the first time, anything different I should know from the video since this ones an older video of yours
Nope!
